    FFB and basic settings

Hey guys, im new to ps4 also to pc2. I have a t300rs set and I'd like to have some help with the settings like gain, fx, tone, volumen. Can you please make a short and clear explanation to each of them? ( i read the in game info about them )

Volume is... Volume. The overall strength of ffb. Adjust this to avoid clipping and get the weight you like.
Tone slider adjusts what type of load you feel in the ffb. High tone gives you the lateral force on the tire, low tone gives you the turning force at the contact patch. Personally I prefer the latter, where the wheel goes light when the front wheel slips.
FX is the vertical force on the tire, like when you hit a kerb.
If you want to experiment, put the flavour on raw, gain at 100, volume at ~40 and have a play with the tone and FX sliders. Try 100, try 0.
Just have a play with it and see which you enjoy most.

But don't go below 40 on both those settings on raw. Not on too look I have a T300 I think I have tone at 54 fx at 48 and set a button up on the wheel or button box for the volume you will need that and caster will change weight but start at the volume.@Hkraft300 do you even mess with caster I don't much just wondering

    Ye I do.
It has a big effect on steering feel (if your wheel can handle it on raw). I have low tone and the effect is very pronounced. I wonder if it has the same effect on high tone.

Caster has a big effect on steering weight. Easy to overload and clip the wheel too with increased caster.
9 months? Still honeymoon phase mate. And may it grow and flourish

Dont forget to update your T300 firmware !! .. I was driving with a t300 with v25 installed and updated to v29 a couple of days ago .. it changed the game completely.. i m sorry for giving bad feedback on the forums now. Most of my problems are gone especially the brakes not working properly!

Always calibrate the pedals in game before you do anything on any racing game. This means press the pedals all the way two or three times then your good . I started doing that it gt 5 never stopped doing it. Always locked up in that game till then. The reason is there is a spot when you press the brake the pedal doesn't do anything at first then it spikes. That will be where your pedals will react at. It seems if I don't my pedals are too sensitive.

And I don't me calibrate the pedals on pcars every time once is good for that I will find video so you understand

    DRS in formula cars

All the cars are passing me on the straights when they pass I see they have the DRS active. Does anyone know how I can activate it as well. Can’t seem to find it in the button configuration.

    Thanks in advance
