    Mini Keyboard as Button Box

    Hello Everyone,

Iv just recently got my racing sim rig (Playseat Challenge and G920) set up and there isn't enough buttons on the steering wheel to use all the functions that PC2 offers (adjusting the ARBs and Brake distribution etc)

I started looking at button boxes to see if it was a viable solution but as I was looking at them I came across using a keyboard/mini keyboard(just number pad). as the keyboard route was a cheaper option I went and purchased a Targus numeric keypad to use. I am having some issues assigning keys to functions on PC2. has anyone had similar issues setting it up?

I keep getting an error about multiple keys detected and also when im racing and try to use the keypad the keys don't do what I have assigned them to?

Any help would be mostly appreciated

    TIA

Really? I have an El cheapo ebay special number pad and it works fine.
It can cross itself up depending if the num lock is on/off. Maybe you should toggle the num lock button when assigning keys.

    Great stickers above.
I also use an old keyboard with no problems.

I think it's the targus. I did the same.. paid $50 for a targus one and it gave me no end of issues. Numlock on or off it had no affect. Same issue when trying to map keys then when they were mapped weird inputs were happening. Bought a cheap as dynamix one for $16 and it works like a charm. Just have to remember to turn off numlock but there is a light on it that reminds me.

Various locations over the years. I print them to an Address label / shipping sheet and then stick to key board.
