There's a lot of bitching going on over on the Dirt forums, but after that steamVR beta update I'm having a great time in VR with the Reverb. I feel a bit sorry for Codies, they bring out a free update that takes a bit of settling in and everyone moans about having their life ruined.

I'm not moaning at all . It is great to see they do their best to add VR support. Only for me it is not working out as it should work. NP I have enough other games. I still like Dirt Rally 2 and will play it but without VR for now.

There have certainly been some issues with VR implementation - I suffered problems at first myself and it was unplayable, so I agree they have work to do. It's just the usual massive internet overreaction over on the Dirt forums I was noting. This forum is a pretty calm and friendly place, that's why I like coming here, we rarely get the histrionics of the busier forums these days, the nutters have moved on.
Ironically I hung onto the Rift S I bought specifically looking forward to Dirt Rally 2.0 VR, as I thought that it would be like DR1.0 i.e. brilliant native Oculus support and shonky steamVR support, and it was one title I really wanted to play in VR. I imagined that WMR would be a no go. Amusingly, it turns out to be the other way round

Well for me, the tracking is very weird below 90 fps without asw on, and when it's on, the movement of my head doesn't seem 100% accurate, it's kind of hard to describe but I can see that something feels weird.
To get an enjoyable experience I have to lower every single settings to either low or deactivated.

This being said, I'm impressed by the ffb and physics, it's a major step up in comparison of dirt rally 1.
