    Gt3 car differences

Is there a place to find the stats on each car? I'm curious on differences. Example the Porsche gt3 vs the Porsche gt3 endurance. Is there a difference? Are setups interchangable?

Hi, You can check the specs when you select the car, it's at the bottom of the car picture, tells you hp, weight top speed. As far as I can tell you can use the same setup for both the Endurance and standard GT3. The main difference is the yellow headlight covers on the Endurance model. That said, when I did some testing at Monza Historic Oval with identical settings the Endurance version was 0.02 quicker. I could make the standard GT3 quicker by adjusting the LSD. So for practical purposes they are the same.

    Bikes wrecked-77 Suzuki RM125, 78 Honda Elsinore 250, 81 Honda CB900F, 2000 Kawsaki ZX12R(2), 2001 Honda F4I, 2005 Yamaha R1. A bike hasn't been made I couldn't wreck, spectacularly, but I'm retired now.

Thank you Blink. I've seen the stuff at the bottom, was more curious on is there an aero difference, or anything really not shown there. That's one thing i've always wondered. The aero of the different cars in the game. Which are more aero sensitve, ect.

I used 0 Downforce in both cases so not much aero difference flat out, just around 0.02 over a 2.63 mile course. In my opinion you would never see this on a road course unless you can do consistent laps of 0.02. The differences were about the same for the Bentleys and Audis as well. E cars were always quicker. Bigger things to worry about.

As for the other cars in game... They are each completely different because of the weight distribution, engine performance etc.. The AMG and Huracan are the least sensitive to toe and radiator opening, the McLaren and R.S. 01 very sensitive.

That's what i'm looking for. What cars are sensitive to what, engine placement ect. Is there a place to find out, or just look up each car?

Sorry I don't know of any book on the cars in this game. I tested at the Daytona Tri Oval where I could get consistent lap times. It's the only track where I can get the top 1 or 2 lap times so I know the baseline is pretty good. I tested brake duct openings, radiator opening and toe. The AMG and Huracan were least sensitive. These 2 cars also do well in AOR Elite racing.

Hey. I tested the AMG and the Nissan GT-R. I added front downforce of 1 and rear downforce of 2 in both cases and you can see the GTR was adversely impacted by downforce adjustments.
At a track where you have high speed corners and straights like Monza GP with the same driver using the AMG(0/0) he ran a 1:44.168 and with the GT-R(1/4) he ran 1:45.543.
    AMG.

Ok, if you look at the specs of the AMG it shows top speed of 187. On my car the AMG quickly reaches a top speed of 180, bounces of the rev limiter, that's it. This is using my speedometer, no matter what only reads 180. With the NSX the top speed is listed as 187. I can get my speedometer to read 189, there is still room on the rpm gauge because of the gearing but there isn't enough hp to push the car any faster.

The A.I. are stuck at 180 as well. With the skill set at 120 they supposedly get a hp boost but they are limited by gearing as well. The A.I. at 120 on the NSX easily out distanced me.

If I were picking a GT3 I would pick either the AMG first and the Huracan 2nd or vice versa. I am faster with the AMG but I have to slide the rear to get it turn so the tire wear is a problem. If you can manage this it is a good choice. I am only slightly slower with the Huracan but I can get it to turn without damaging the rear tires. The 180 top speed limit instead of the 187 isn't hurting the AMG because the gearing seems ideal for this car. Opening the brake ducts and radiator, adding toe and downforce have little affect on the AMG, it just pushes through these while the other cars are adversely impacted. There are a few tracks like the Ovals where the AMG won't work because of the speed limit but for the rest of the tracks you really don't see a disadvantage since straights are limited.
The Ferrari was nerfed drastically in previous patches and repaired somewhat in the last patch. The Ferrari specs are 189 mph before the nerf, now it barely reaches 180.

When you add brake ducts 75 front and 60 rear, downforce front 1.0 and 2.0 rear and radiator opening of 40% the top speed is reduced and it takes the full straight to get there.

When you add all the same drag inducing parameters to the AMG it goes straight to 180 and does it in much less distance.

The GTR. With the horsepower boost it got in patch 5.0 it does hit top speed about 1/4 mile sooner than the others except the AMG of course.

The top speed of the other GT3s really doesn't matter, the AMG is already maxed out at 180 mph while the other cars are at 175.

Thank you. I guess if there's not a place to look, I have some testing to do. I wouldn't have known where to start without your posts. Time to get to work on it.
