I think I came up with something to keep my puddle from disappearing, I just hit escape at the last apex before the finish straight. Just don't complete the lap. I am not working on the other sections for now. It's also apparent that I don't have enough computer/video card to do these shots. I can't escape the blocky reflections. Often times I attempt to maneuver to get a shot and I end up all blocked, the only way I can get back is to cycle through the cameras(Trackside/Cockpit/Drone). The transparent spear point shows up, either on one side or the other at the rear of the car, I try and hide it but...I have AA maxed at 16. I am better off than the console guys so I am ok, grateful for what I do have. I made the puddle because to screenshot the car you have to destroy the sky with High Contrast Filter in some cases. And the settings I chose in most cases means I also need to increase exposure. So I tried to get back the ghost of the sky in the reflections of the puddle. Sometimes by dumb luck I get a decent shot with a pretty good reflection so I just need more luck or dumbness.
Here I got a little lucky with this less blocky than usual.

Here the distance shot has a blocky reflection but I could zoom in and cut it off in this rare case. But then I lose the cloud reflections.

Well fudge. 9:38 PM here and the puddles quit working, my fix didn't work when it counted.

Dynamic weather loses it's mind when you do 360s.
    Opposite of track direction, snow.

With track direction, cleaned off. This is how I clean the snow from my car on snow tracks. Just the opposite.

Turned OFF Shadows, still having issues trying to hide the defects. It gives me a limited range for shots. I have taillight reflections now but the reflection of the car is still blocky.

Well I think the game sun has moved even though I made no changes so instead of clouds I get more sun reflection.

Well I most likely can't improve the blockiness issue but it doesn't help when the game is constantly shifting things about. I never had a rear shot lit up like this before.

Ok, switched to 2016 and the puddle is better. The sun position shift that occurred is across all 4 years I checked.

I guess I have too much stuff going on with the deep puddle. The track sign is always a problem, the track light poles are real easy to break and almost impossible to resolve at a distance. I felt lucky to get some to carry across the grass.

I made a lot of runs at the shallow puddle. It's very shallow, those lumps are the marbles.

This was my goal when I started, to appear to be parked on a cloud. Ended up being a shallow puddle that helped me.

This game is awesome! I had faith that the SMS guys had provided the technology. I almost gave up numerous times. Still I believed and although the game threw me a curve with the sun drift if that had not happened and forced me to shift dates and start over I might not have made it. Anyway here all the settings I ended up with to get were I wanted to go.

Different puddle, not enough sun and I am in the shallow side. Blinking lights on the fender well are from my video card I guess.
