This is a really good full sun livery for the Porsche 911 GT3 at Silverstone. The pearl white lower area hides the errors well. The hassle is the metallic blue upper half has some stitching issues on the front lower windscreen and the rear engine cover. I just look for the shadow in chase cam and click Photo and work on that side.

You have to come over left and drop down to clean up the tail lights, now all that's left is the stiching on the rear quarter window and the messed up right edge on the deck spoiler. Now the Falken sticker is showing one of those white streaks, maybe the stiching wasn't so bad after all. Oh well, out of luck.

There is some stitching on the engine cover and the wing end plate is messy.

This car is going to be more of a challenge, or any mostly dark livery.

    Bikes wrecked-77 Suzuki RM125, 78 Honda Elsinore 250, 81 Honda CB900F, 2000 Kawsaki ZX12R(2), 2001 Honda F4I, 2005 Yamaha R1. A bike hasn't been made I couldn't wreck, spectacularly, but I'm retired now.

The top edge of the C9 rear wing was a little wavy so I hid it in the curbing of the next corner. I used exposure of 1.00 because the Repsol colors on the lead 962 were fading. This C9 livery is tough, the gold fades and the side panels stitch. The top edge of the Jag are a little saw toothed but I can't adjust them out with 3 cars.

The lead 962 colors look better from this view so I left the exposure at 1.00. The highlight line that runs across the front of the 962 is just there. The rest of the pack look ok.

The C9s have stitching around the headlights. The gold C9 the black is fading to brown as usual when too much sun is on the car. The Klarc/West livery is just bad. It's kind of a tight fit to get to the Jag.

ok, kind of meh but when you have a backfire you have to stop there.

Well it kind of is a disappointment. I can only get this shot of the reflection using fraps. When I hit replay by the time I make it here the track is dried out and no reflections.

It does look rather stupid when you are hopelessly spinning out due to giant puddles and the replay shows you spinning on a nearly dry track. I had better puddles in replay using Blizzard than I did Thunderstorm.

Ok I finally made a puddle I was hoping to make using blizzard and light rain. I managed to get just this one single puddle after numerous attempts. In replay when you back up through the puddle it throws more spray into the air and it stays for a while so that is why there is spray and a single snow flake.

The way the dynamic weather seems to work is that you get 1 replay lap, that's it. The weather is changing so the puddle is completely gone if you hit replay a 2nd time, I had to do another race to get this shot. I know where it is so I slowed this time to get a clear shot without the spray.

To me the cool thing about the puddle is you can take many variable shots without moving the car, just depends on where you stop in the puddle.

I like the Silverstone track with all of it's history. It took me a while to get the only puddle on the track I could find that would last through the replay. Here are the settings I used, it worked pretty good with the liveries I tried.

I couldn't do multiple cars at once with the McLaren, I guess I bunched us up to tight. I did a single car run instead.

Stitching on the fender vents, maybe another livery with different vents would be better.

Well I knew this car/livery would be a challenge. The grill! Anyway I got the usual top edge ripple with the addition of the reflection of the sign support.

Cool. This is still a very good game. So much to do to have fun with.
The 330 P4 is hard to do, the paint is too dull compared to the real car from the pictures I found of the real thing.
Most of the liveries on the 333 SP are really good compared to other cars in the game. I prefer this one. it handles bright daylight, darkness etc.. On this one the sun was behind the car and when the snow stuck it kept the pinkish color from the sun.Click image for larger version.

Not many livery choices for the GT3/GTE in the game I care for, just a couple.
Man I have tried a lot with the P4. Maybe it's an art car. The paint just bugs me.

My puddle torture was starting to get to me, the puddle had become almost non existent last night. Then I remembered what Majik had posted on Steam recently about the Dynamic weather changing so you had to be about the same time to get similar results. This morning the puddle returned, snow flakes are back so I can get back to face planting.
    Difficult to drive.

I'm chasing squirrels again. The first shot is a PNG, the second a JPEG. On my desktop both cars are identical in size however after they are processed into the format for the forum posts thecar in the 1st(PNG) shot looks larger to me. Both are about the same kbs after posting. In the end it doesn't matter.

I picked this shot, it has flaws but it also has a highlight and the rear window a reflection of the yellow sky. I lopped off part of the giant antenna, it interferes in some shots.

One of the things missing in the game are the ripples in the puddle when the car goes through. Still pretty cool though.
