Exclamation Fanatec clubsport V3 pedals not detected

I have recently bought a set of fanatec clubsport V3 pedals and have been playing iRacing with them and it works great. However i can't seem to get PC2 to detect them though which is kinda sad because PC2 brought me back into simracing. Been looking everywhere online but can only seem to find posts saying you should assign them however i can't even do that.

have checked firmware, removed running programs that might interfere and such but still nothing.

any suggestions as to what might be the issue?

    Lard

Depends what you mean by not being detected...

If you have them plugged in via USB you will have to assign the controls first. Go into Edit assignments and set the throttle, brake and clutch. The only way they will be automatically detected is if they are attached via a supported wheel.

have you got a Fanatec wheel, so you could plug them in via the wheel ?

    as long as it works..

if you have problems the usual answer is to delete (or rename) the controller setup file (after temporarily disabling Steam cloud saves)
    Documents\Project CARS 2\savegame\<Your Steam ID>\project cars 2\profilesdefault.controllersettings.v1.03.sav
Then start from scratch with assigning
