I’ve checked the file and indeed it is my error. I had two version extracted and accidentally copied the same v0.04 to the pcars path instead of the v1.0 version..

    Shame, shame, shame, shame ,shame.

Thanks for this Chrisitan. It's been a while since I played PC2 but this peaked my interest. I used to run Jack Spades ffb and was always pretty happy with it. It never felt quite as good as the ffb in AC but trying your ffb put a big smile on my face. As close to AC as I've felt.

I'm going to give this a go tomorrow, do you have any suggestions as to the Thrustmaster TX settings (ingame/desktop driver tool) ?

Haven't had someone with a TM wheel test it yet but I'd go with your default driver settings with 1080 degree lock, make sure that the lock is calibrated in-game.

    As for in-game settings...

    Gain: 100
    Volume: 50-100*
    Tone: 50
    FX: 0-100**

*Adjust volume on a per car basis. Old cars and high downforce cars tend to clip the signal above 50, other cars you might need to set to 100. Watch the FFB meter in the in-game telemetry HUD, the last red bar on the right should never or rarely spike.

**The added effects can be added in as you desire. Feel free to experiment here, but I'd leave them off for starters.

TIP: Set buttons to adjust volume on your wheel, so that you can adjust the force feedback on the fly as you try out various cars.

    Enjoy!

The FFB meter in the telemetry hud, how do I read it. Must the most right one be as flat as possible?

The bars from left to right basically define the amplitude of the signal. With each bar having an amplitude range, albeit I don't know the exact numbers on that.
The longer the bar, the more and longer a signal is active in that range.

In other words on the straight it might show a long bar on one of the first bars, but as soon as the car loads up for a corner the longest bar wil shift to the right as the wheel gets heavier. Smaller bars appear in front of it due to the signal spiking a bit on bumps and so on. Hence you don't want those spikes on the red.
