Le Mans circuit chicanes - pls help SMS

    SMS,

I am a huge fan of PC2. Please, please, though, can you correct/update the lack of any road feel on the two Mulsanne straight chicanes at Le Mans....just makes the track unusable.

Anybody else on the forum with any idea on any fix for this, would be very grateful to hear it.
    Thanks

    Not sure what you mean.
    What are your ffb settings?

Thanks. This is not a forceback issues - it is a surface detail issue. From the well read post on the track list/laser scanned etc., I don't believe the track is laser scanned, but the general surface feel is pretty good all round, except for the two Mulsanne chicanes. As soon as you turn into them, all surface detail drops off, and it feels like driving on glass - until you get back on the straight section. Obviously an oversight somewhere, but a real shame as the rest of it is great and immersive, until you get to the two chicanes.

Well, I can't confirm that. I've driven a bit more on Le Mans lately and there's no drop in surface detail for me.

Le Mans is a public road except from the porsche curves to just before you get onto Mulsanne therefore they might not of had the capability to get the chicanes the way they wanted to due to it being a public road just a thought i dont see this as a big issue though

The reason I asked for your ffb settings (and you should also tell us what wheel wheel/controller you're using, what car) is because...

This. I find no lack of detail through the chicanes either.

Had a race over 2h last friday at LeMans, and I cant confirm a lack of details either. The only thing I really hate at LeMans is the lack of water drain at Mulsanne after the rain stopped.

I completed 2hrs of Le Man on Le Man weekend and felt no problems , Not saying your wrong but if you can confirm your device and settings and also car maybe we can help.
    For reference I was using the Corvette GTE on a T300 using Raw 100 / 56 / 50 / 10 / 20

I like the C7R too with similar settings. Less volume to avoid clips on a G29 though.
A bad line through the hunaudieres chicanes really hurts lap times.

The game is end of life. No more patches.
