    Steering wheels in PC2

    Hey all!
I tried the demo some time ago with my Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience. Worked like a Charme - bought the game - doesnt find the device. Now i did some reading and found out, that this, amongst a lot of other wheels, isnt supported.

I found this compatibility list of non supported dewvices where almost every wheel is listed. Even the G29 from Logitech - but may People are using this wheel.

copy / paste ( cant post a link cause I'm too new around here )

    Thrustmaster RTG Force Feedback Clutch
    Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience
    Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 Force Feedback
Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 Wheel Integral T500
    Thrustmaster T500RS
    Thrustmaster T300RS
Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 Wheel Advance T300
    Thrustmaster Ferrari F458 Force Feedback
    Thrustmaster T150
    Thrustmaster TMX
    Thrustmaster TS-XW
    Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer
    Logitech G25
    Logitech G27
    Logitech G29
    Logitech G920
    Logitech Driving Force
    Logitech Driving Force Pro
    Logitech Driving Force GT
    Logitech MOMO Force
    Logitech MOMO Racing
    Fanatec CSR (+ Pedals)
    Fanatec CSR Elite (+ Pedals)
    Fanatec CSW
    Fanatec CSW V2
    Fanatec CSL Elite
    Fanatec CSL Eliten PS4
    Fanatec CSW V2.5
    Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo
    Fanatec Porsche Turbo GT2 Turbo
    Fanatec Porsche Turbo GT3RS
    Fanatec Porsche Turbo GT3RS V2
    Fanatec Porsche Turbo PWC

I'd love to play that game with a steering wheel and pedals but without spending a fortune.

So - is this list valid?

That list is wrong. Could be the compatible list instead? Most of that wheels are fully compatible in PC (I used some of them).

In PS4 there are more restrictions because the chip introduced by Sony in last gen and you only could use Sony certified wheels with that chip.

    Check this: https://vandal.elespanol.com/guias/g...es-compatibles

Edit: You probably got the list here: https://www.projectcarsgame.com/proj...-761db374-cb5a and it's a list of compatible wheels that has an ingame profile.
Many other devices not listed, works too configuring as custom control. Repeat, this is valid on PC, not for consoles.

At home I have these wheels running on the PCARS2 built-in profile:
    Logitech G25
Fanatec DD1( CSW V2.5 compatibility mode)
    Thrustmaster T500RS(with shifter)

Previously I had these connected as well:
    Fanatec CSR (+ Pedals)
    Fanatec CSW V2.5

A friend of my runs a
    Logitech G29

These are all in your list, except the DD1, but it's in 2.5 compatibility mode, so technically it is.

Hey, I tried out the t80 not too long ago (on the pc, which isn't supported so it wasn't perfect) and in order for me to even detect it in te first place I had to install some drivers. Then I restarted my PC (as the instructions told me to) and after that I started up PC2 and it got detected! The site with all the steering wheels from Thrustmaster can be found if you just google support.thrustmaster, then on the top select steering wheels, then find yours, and then install the drivers as told by the instructions.

    hope that helps you!
