Seeing as I post many pictures of short oval racing events I have attended and I fairly regularly request European short oval formulae I figured that it might be of interest for me to go into detail about the different formulae, tracks and history of this sport that is little known about.
I will also post plenty of pictures in this thread of events I have and will attend.
If anyone wishes to know more about any aspect of European Short Oval Racing feel free to ask I am happy to explain.

Been to a few Brisca F1 meetings, really enjoyable and some great racing. Haven't gone since they closed Brandon Stadium though, it was my local circuit.

Fortunately there are number of tracks that are on there way up, Stansted Raceway is now my local and that track is steadily being improved.
And as some good news a new circuit (Manston Raceway) is going to be opening in Kent in the near future

That rear end looks like the police unit (Ford Explorer), that I was driving back in March. The spare tire wasn't too far from being vertical.
