Nice, always had a lot of fun with the original Grid. On the XBOX at that time..
I also made a tray on my rig for placing my PS4 on the Rig. Lol. Not for Grid but for GT Sports. It is fun to combine sim racing with arcade-sim racing.

Now it is waiting on the release 11th of October..

Well, I personally find the simcades (I still hate that word) to be along the lines of real world tire grip levels compared with some of the "hardcore" simulations.

Lol I do not like that word either. Last week I played GT Sports again since a long time. The looks of it is so awesome. The cars, the tracks the lighting...
    grid will be no difference.

The only thing I don’t like with this kind of games is the drifting part. The drifting challenges you need to complete.

I will actually enjoy drifting, if I can use my Fanatec Handbrake. Autosport was not configurable. But, the below video looks like GRID could be configurable!

Or 8th of October for some of us

Btw, I think especially for the Grid series, the term simcade is actually valid. For GAS, codemasters themselves said that it's 60% sim - 40 % arcade (while Grid 2 was way more to the arcade side), so the term simcade I think is fine, it's exactly what they want to achieve.

I just wish we could call racing games, racing games again without some kind of arbitrary class separation used to judge others on what they enjoy doing.

Anyway, I really am excited for this game. It looks like it will bring me much laffs and joy. And frankly, Autosport failed to deliver on the joy and all the laffs were sarcastic.

I like the Grid games and the old Toca Race Driver games, but since the base game has very little content compared to previous Grid games I'll wait until all DLC is released and there's a sale. I think it's really messed up & dishonest what CM did with DR2.0 releasing a game with less content than DR1 then adding cars/tracks from DR1 into DR2.0 as paid DLC, apparently they'll do the same with Grid 2019.

No, no, they said newer tracks will be all free for all.
