But, you have to understand. It's complicated. There is so much in the background of Project CARS. It's why, it's taking SMS a few more years to get to the finish line! Just the SETA tire model and the work that went into it for Project CARS 2 was amazing! I think, the base for Revolution will be 2, but improved substantially over it. The addition of newer menus is expected and other things that were mentioned for hopeful improvements during WMD2 days.

I never said it isn't complicated and I absolutely agree there's A LOT in the background of the game and there has been so much effort in creating it. Exactly for this reason I find it disappointing that the devs left it in this state, with so many problems, while it could had become incredibly good. Bugs being complicated means they need more effort to fix, not that they can't be fixed. And not all are complicated, for example the results screen with random flags for each player I am absolutely sure it is not complicated to fix. Or that you get a blue flag so often while in first place, that shouldn't be too difficult to fix either..

That's why i said, learning from WRC8's career mode might be beneficial - not that WRC8 career mode is perfect. All the AI's times are faked, for instance, in that game. Having XP points and weird-ass career objectives are also weird. You never know what you need to do to score that next contract, or why you got one in the first place.
BUT, it does feel like an actual career.
