What? I'm asking a valid question 😁...is it easier to drive with all the sliding and drifting? 😁

It's actually significantly more difficult to hone driving technique for limited grip and underpowered cars. Similarly difficult for limited grip and overpowered cars. Modern GT machinery doesn't really offer much challenge over modern open wheel machinery except in the wider, heavier cars. But the philosophies are different. The philosophies between modern prototypes and open wheel are remarkably similar and the skills tend to have significant enough overlap however.

I'm sure you'll find a way to call everybody a scrub or something who doesn't drive modern open wheel cars and then start a sixteen page discussion in which you get yourself banned, though.

You've lost him. Momentum and slip angles are concepts way over his head.

He claims Codemasters F1 games are accurate. The very model of objective reality is way over his head, mate.

The Codemaster F1 games 2016 and beyond are more difficult to drive with all the assists turned off in cockpit view with driving at the car's limit for 90 mins. PC2 is more of a sim with better FFB so you're able to catch and correct the car without spinning out. So F1 games are like driving on the edge constantly where PC2 is like an intense Sunday drive with your grandma in the back seat 😁

    Don't feed the trolls.

Picking just 3 cars is hard. Three cars best suited for beginners is probably different than the three cars that's most fun to drive. Which might be different from the three cars that brings the best, closest racing. But three cars I really enjoy for different reasons:

    BMW 2002 Turbo
    Renault Clio Cup
    Radical SR3-RS
Thrustmaster TX, Italia 458 wheel, T3PA-Pro, Firmware 54, Xbox One X, public OS, 24" 1080 monitor
    Don't miss Yorkie065's excellent videos: Ep26-LiveTrack pt1. Ep 27-LiveTrack pt2.

+1 for the radical RS it's an awesome little rig.
My choices are more for dramatic effect and fun factor.
