    G25 how to stop rumble/rattle?

Hello I have the G25 wheel.

Really don't like how it rumbles all the time as if the car is broken... Is there any way to keep the heavy wheel feeling but remove the rumble so it feels more like a real car?

Ffb in games does not feel like a real car really. Game ffb contains much more information than a irl wheel to replace the many other inputs and forces a real driver feels as a result of car movement.

I suggest that if you want less high frequency forces and a gentle presentation that you run tone above 50 and FX zero using the raw profile. FX zero is unboosted so you will still feel those forces but they will not dominate.

If you try that but want a stronger feeling try similar settings with the informative flavour. This flavour has a compressor to boost lighter forces and some prefer this with low performance wheels such as yours.

Don't forget that your wheel is gear driven so rumble and noise is normal and it does contain usefull tyre grip, slip and texture info.

G25/27 are well known as noisy rattling devices. Getting worse with time used.
You should change to a belt driven wheel or a direct drive
Every car could be a race car, as long as you have the balls to drive it like that !

As satco1066 said, get a belt driven or direct drive wheel. The Logitech wheels are gear driven and rattle.
    What line?

I use a G27 and have never had problems with rattle in this game. I do get some rattle in ACC, but I tone things down in that game to alleviate the problem. On PCars2 my settings are: immersive, Gain-100, volume-60, Tone-55, FX-50, Menu strength-0.04.
    Now:
    CPU - Intel i7-4770K @ 3.5GHz: Zotac AMP GTX 1080 : Motherboard - Gigabyte GA Z87X-OC :
    Memory - 16GB- DDR3 : OS Windows 8.0 64 bit : Screen - Philips 43" 4K BDM4350UC monitor @ Custom Resolution 3840x1706 : VR - HTC Hive : Wheel - Logitech G27 : Sound - ASUS Xonar DSX

The G25 has straight cut gears and the G27 has hypoid gears. The straight cut gears are more rattly and noisy.

It's gear driven with fairly loose tolerance. I'm guessing the gears are plastic too.
You're going to get rattle with some types of ffb signal like kerbs. It's inevitable.
You can minimise the rattle with low FX I guess.

If you don't want rattle, get a belt or DD wheel.
