is Livetrack 3.0 tied to either Time Progression or Weather Progression?

Or is it 100% independent? As in no matter how fast time is passing, rubbering will dynamically happen on the amount of traffic, or track will get wet based on how long its raining for. Or, if weather progression is so fast that it if its dry, heavy rain, and dry again, each for 5 minutes, will puddles form regardless? Or will the track barely get wet since it didn't rain for long enough and all the water evaporates away?

787878Well I have done many laps with a setup like this. I see all types of weather I set in the lap. Depending on the time of day I play the last section of the 4 I set toward the end of a lap will have large remaining puddles or significantly smaller. Shortly after 21:00(my actual time) the puddles at the end of a lap will start reducing and by 22:44(my time) they are nearly gone. If I set it up for 2 laps, I will have Blizzard conditions for 1 lap because of my 4 slots 2 are set for that and so on for the number of laps you set.

I am on Eastern Standard Time USA, so 10:44 PM, depending on your time zone this will happen.

3:46 AM EST. The puddle will come back later on.

This is what it is like right now with just 1 slot of Thunderstorm of the 4, I can't even drive it and there is probably less water showing in the replay picture.

This is what around half a minute of Thunderstorm will do in the last slot. Basically if you pick Thunderstorm even in the drier cycle of weather, at least with one of these old cars without a pit stop to change tires, you are going to be messed up.

So if you have a Thunderstorm slot here is the procedure I read from Majik on Steam. Once the thunderstorm is under way hit Pause, watch a Replay and hit Resume. Presto Thunderstorm puddles are reduced.

    Bikes wrecked-77 Suzuki RM125, 78 Honda Elsinore 250, 81 Honda CB900F, 2000 Kawsaki ZX12R(2), 2001 Honda F4I, 2005 Yamaha R1. A bike hasn't been made I couldn't wreck, spectacularly, but I'm retired now.

I'm pretty sure track rubbering and rain are not dependent on time acceleration. Rain however is dependent on weather progression. If you don't use real time for the weather the amount of rain seems to increase as does the subsequent drying.

The viewing figures are incredibly low at 3-4K given there are over a million people who own PC2. While Livetrack 3.0 is certainly not perfect (drainage is the weakest element IMO, along with AI and puddles) it is an incredibly ambitious system way in advance of what rivals have. Ian and SMS are often criticised for "over-selling" but LiveTrack 3.0 is undersold IMO.

Yeah, even though the marbles aren't very reflective you can see them change colors with the sun direction and the comet tail shadows.
