For now I am looking at a 43” 4K TV because bigger will not fit on my desk.

Correction: 55" will fit on my desk ;-) With that I will have a FOV of 78 at 75 cm distance.

The closer in, the better. The extra resolution of 4K makes for good vision at as close as you can sit, and allows wider realistic FOV.

Edit: Oops! Just noticed you posted TV specs in inches but where you sat in cm! Yep, 78 cm is close enough! 78in, not so much!

BTW! I use Enhanced resolution, not framerate on my Pro. Didn’t notice much improvement with framerate, but definitely better with resolution, less flicker under the trees, etc.

    Whoa slow down.
You also want to check the TV for refresh rates and input lag.

I have an LG 4k 65" led that I tried pcars2 on (Ps4). Motion blur bothered me to the point I prefer my 720p 42" plasma.

Most modern 4K TV’s have a ‘Game mode’ that defeats as much post processing as possible. How old is that LG..?

Plus most modern TV’s have HDMI 60Hz inputs, which lines up nicely with a Pro’s output. I could only afford a Hisense but it’s not a 120 Hz model, so it works nicely on the Pro. Maybe that’s the thing to avoid if it can’t be defeated?

Imput lag is 11ms for the Samsung. Refresh rate is 50Hz.

    ~3 years old I think.
My 42 plasma is also an LG and that's ~8 years old

No game mode on the LG then? Double check, it might be in the options...

Your plasma predates 120Hz interpolation and post processing, so that’s probably why you aren’t getting that issue.

You might want to hang on to that, could be worth something one day

The led has game mode. Still motion blurs. Not really noticeable watching Netflix but sitting up close racing it is there. I guess I notice it more because I'm not used to it. Like someone going from 10ms input lag to 50.

    You're joking
Well it's in perfect condition except remote volume buttons are shot. Keeping it as long as it works and I have convenient use of it. I don't fomo for the latest and greatest gadgets.

Probably that 120Hz stuff, then. No visible motion blur on my 60Hz TV.

Have you tried different HDMI inputs?
