How to Map Button Box Toggle Switch to Ignition properly?

    Hi,

I'm using a nice, custom button box.

Would like to properly map a toggle switch (that has a state ON and OFF) to ignition.
Unfortunately, PC2 does not respect the off signal.
I tried a workaround with joy2key software, that allows mapping a keyboard key to a button box switch and set it to activate on both ON and OFF state (so a mapped key is pressed once if the switch is ON and pressed once if the switch gets off) but PC2 (as well as Automobilista 2) does not respect this setting
For example, this "hack" works without problems in Asetto Corsa Competizione.
So, anyone found a way to properly map ignition to a button box's toggle switch in PC2/Automobilista2 ?
(so it gets on when the switch is ON and it gets off, when the switch gets OFF)

Currently, when I flip the switch ON, Ignition gets on, when I flip it OFF, Ignition stays ON.
When I flip the switch ON again, ignition gets OFF, and when I flip it OFF again, Ignition stays OFF.
So Iginition switches only on every ON state of the flipswitch.

I'm not sure there is an ignition off function in PC2/AMS2, just the toggle as you've found. I have mine on a flicky springy switch so you flick it down to turn on, then it springs back and you flick it down again (although I can't remember ever actually turning it off)

The main thing is, why the trick worx on ACC and not on PC2/AM2?
Why PC2/AM2 seems to ignore joy2key?

joy to key works with both.
You simply ignore that most games just support push buttons,
ACC is one of the few that implemented it right, as button boxes with switches are now used more and more.
