Hi all. Good news on a Monday morning, the XBox one patch has been approved and will be rolling out later today. :)
Project CARS – Xbox One Patch 8.0 – Release Notes
Vehicles
• McLaren F1 GTR - adjusted cockpit exposure, fixed visual clipping issues.
• Radical RXC Turbo - Fixed typo in statistics file. Engine now correctly displays as V6 not V8, Fixed asymmetry typo in default setup spring rates.
• Lotus 51 - Fixed a typo giving 100 steps to rear fast rebound damper settings instead of 10. Default values were unaffected.
• Renault Megane RS265 - Fixed typo causing asymmetry in default setup springs.
• KTM X-Bow - Fixed clipping on the roof camera.
Tracks
• Cadwell Park – Fixed an issue where cars while on the main straight would hit the pit wall at a certain spot and be disqualified.
• Ruapuna all layouts - updated the position of the pit exit trigger so it's after the start line trigger. Full optimisation pass done on all the layouts to improve performance.
Physics, Tires and Setups
• Further adjustment of heating on under-inflated tires where it was reduced as part of the discontinuity fix.
• Fixed issues with players not being able to save setups to DLC tracks, if they started their profile with older versions of the game.
GUI
• DLC cars and tracks will now remain selected between game sessions.
• Fixed a bug where some tracks with forced rolling starts was locking out the rolling start option after moving to a different track.
UDP
• Extended joypad and dpad bitfields to include some extra buttons on steering wheels. Added 'same class as player' flag in participant info mSector field. Fixed a couple of issues with packet types 1/2 not sending at the correct rate.

Can you explain how that works? Does it mean we can use those buttons that were previously duplicated? Thanks in advance!

Lol..... you'll be lucky, I saw it on here somewhere that the sound stuttering was at Microsofts end not sms. But I know how you feel sometimes it is dreadful
No improvements on stuttering issue with sound? and the ONLINE MULTIPLAYER? where is the performance with almost one year since the release?¿?

After this latest update it took me 45 seconds to back out of the menu, happened both times I checked. Lame! That's after 8 patches and almost a year after the game came out.
New Patch New bugs again, this game really is a sad state of affair's. One year on and it truly does look like sms are no where near the big boys in producing a fun game, good look with convincing us to buy PCars2. I am annoyed due to having just lost over 300 hours of data since so called patch 8, one thing for sure pcars wont be getting another 300 hours of play time out of me.

Why play a game for 300 hrs which you do not like at all? Am I not getting it?

There is a sound bug on the Xbox1 version....PC and PS4 players have not experienced it...it has to do with Xbox1 7th processor being shared for gaming and OS functionalities. Personally, the new dashboard has improved sound a lot. The issue still happens, but it will not last more than 2 seconds.
SMS said they needed a new SDK to fix this, this was 6 months ago. Nothing else has been said since...
try this, it may help you: Make sure you don't have any other apps running in the background on your Xbox. This game uses everything it can get its hands on and if you have background apps stealing cycles, then you're going to have sound issues. Put your Xbox into power save mode not Instant On and sometimes hardware reset your console, like after updating Pcars.

Where did he say he didn't like playing the game? Learn to read, instead of making up things. He's obviously pissed he lost all his tunes and whatever single player progress he's made.
Does the button mapping add the RSB and LSB on the G920?
The game was starting to get playable and yes somewhat enjoyable, obviously MP was still a big disappointment, but I did all my complaining in the first 3 months, since then I have just sat back & got on with it. But when it comes to losing all the data 4 races before I reached my first championship and got a few top 60 placing in the time trials enough is enough. I have now lost all the inclination to continue with what I feel for defiant is a poor quality game, with no signs of it getting any real game improving updates. For those that don't agree well that's not my concern, for me it will take some persuasion to get me to give sms any money for any product they produce in the future.
Just let me clarify GAME IMPROVING UPDATES Include, reliability and consistency that the game will perform that same 95% of the time between patches and game paying time

FWIW: I have yet to do any of that since the game has been released on my XB1. Download patch and a simple hard reboot once finished has done the trick.
Why are you guys re-installing the game each patch?

Ehhhhh yeah I get where your coming from. Do something one way for a long time, change it up once, everything blows up. Always how it works.
Many things can/need to be improved on the console side of things for the game. Just wanted to give another perspective, thats all. Back to patch notes.

Feel soory for you...I lost a 120 hr save in june and know how it feels. Since then it works. But If I lost data again then I'm not sure if I ever buy a product from sms. After 8 months that issue must be sorted out.
One thing that I'm not understand why multiplayer always only 30 people play worldwide. 5 lobbies are max and only one or two have more than 6 players. If the game sells 300000 times on the one, then it must be more action in multiplayer.
But I really hope my savegame survive the update

I simply dont get why people have sooooo many issues. we have had 4 series of various types every Sunday night since release with only a few weeks missed due to the xmas breaks etc with virtually no issues. Only issues any of have had have been Xbox live related shite which we had all the way through Forza 2 3 4 and 5. As for my PC version, thats been flawless and i dont even have that good a rig compared to some!.

As far as the data loss issues (which I have experienced 7 times now with two over those well over 120hrs and all over 50 hours) and those of you claiming you will never trust SMS or buy another SMS product, think about it this way: It's only the Xbox One version of the game with this problem. The PC and PS4 don't have this problem. Why would you not in the future consider ever purchasing an SMS product for a different system?
The problem isn't solely SMS's fault, and it isn't solely MS Xbox's fault. It's an interaction problem between the game and the system that doesn't happen on other platforms. If you refuse to buy another Xbox game by SMS, that's perfectly understandable. But why anyone would prevent themselves from even attempting to enjoy a product of the caliber that SMS has proven they can offer on a proven-good system because of the failures of another system which after a year of effort has still proven elusive to fix. It's not like SMS is completely ignoring the issue. If a simple fix existed, I'm positive they would have pulled the trigger on fixing it the moment they learned how. The data loss issue with the Xbox One is so multifaceted that there is not, nor will there likely ever be a complete fix to the problem with this iteration of Project Cars.
I won't be purchasing PCars 2 for the Xbox. Not solely for PCars though, I am currently rebuilding my PC into a modern gaming machine capable of playing games at the level of quality that I want (rather than dumbing down graphics and making the move now). As soon as I've revamped and upgraded my system, I'm handing my Xbox One to my Five Year old and giving up on the system and console gaming in general. PC just offers so much more than console, a fact that I forgot a few years ago, and SMS' products will certainly be a part of my library regardless of the problems I've experienced on Xbox.

Untill where back to little to no grip. Raced the GT3 BMW Z4 tire temps / pressures go up. Why are the lower class's constantly being ignored.

Just wanted to say I agree re the interaction problem. I have a couple of issues with online that I think are more to do with xbox than the game... but I digress......
Re the patch, downloaded it last night with no problems. Didn't have much time but managed a few laps in the Maclaren GT3 on Brno. Tyres seem fine :) It feels like there's a bit more grip so will probably need to tweak my cars again to take advantage of it. Looking forward to getting stuck in later !

Yes, I have the sound issue playing that other Forza game as well. Mostly on earphones, so I do believe it's a Xbox issue.
And the instability in online what is? 7th core? Xbox issue?
Installed last night.
Setups still corrupting.
Lag and forward "thrusts" still occurring. (Offline)
Fuel estimates still incorrectly reported (not applying multipliers)
Accelerate Time/Skip to end of session still produces fictional results.
Oschershlaben gravel now acts like a kerb at the back right/left chicane.
DLC Not included in Endurance series. LMP1 series still 15 minute sprint races.
I guess these are all blamed on the console, rather than the game itself being a mess. I want to love this game, I really do, but it's currently an unplayable mess.

Although the game still has a few issues I would say its far from unplayable!
I just want the game to be as perfect as possible to keep me playing. Will bug fixes continue past the next few month's or are we at the end of the road where the game we have now is what we will be left with?
I want pcars2 to be the title I look forward to and not the one I'm not going to buy!
Great patch this one (now I've pumped up all my tyres!), feel they have the tyre heating/management spot on time...please don't mess with it again!

That explains a lot: my PC must be an Xbox in disguise – since launch, I've lost my career progress, settings and car setups about half a dozen times on the machine I thought was a PC.

Not every build, but Umer is still saying he's never "lost" it (i.e. had it removed not by him or corrupted). Same here, but I do have manual backups of mine. They mainly exist as if I'm testing something for someone here, I want an easy way to get back to my original setup.

It was a recommendation. I stopped doing that back in 2012-ish when i realized it wasnt strictly necessary EVERY build. Very few builds actually required a fresh profile. And it was easy to tell when it was necessary because the game wouldnt launch.
Since the May launch i've been on the same profile (~400 hours). Maybe i'm lucky?

I raced a couple hours yesterday and the tire heating situation seems to be better now as far as I could tell.
Anyone finding the cars a bit more tail happy after this patch?
This is DEFINITELY the case on PS4 using stock set-ups (or previously-applied set-ups). I guess it's to be expected based on all the changes to the tyre model since launch, but this patch does seem to have made the biggest difference to handling, and not in a good way. It would be nice if the stock settings on cars were updated based on this latest (final?) tyre model. A lot of them were bloody awful to begin with anyway.
I never lost mine in 5 years, just another data point.
To add another data point, some of us were advised to wipe our entire careers and cloud saves after the stats were completely corrupted.
And to those saying the game is playable, whilst I accept it is playable for some (maybe even most), those of us who suffer from the lag/fast forward issue have found it 100% unplayable. When the game is speeding up and slowing down, it isn't even remotely playable. And that issue, like many serious issues, has never been resolved.
And it's the X1s fault? Bad workmen, blame tools, etc.

To the comments of data loss on PC, that can not be SMS's fault in every single instance. In a PC game the user has full access to the file tree. The user is able to make backups at any given point on any day of those files and replace them at will. Such is not possible on a console. If you're a PC gamer who doesnt want to deal with making your own backups, then you should be a console player. The thoughtlessness that goes into gaming on a console is right up your alley, while the real PC gamers understand that stuff happens at times and the only way to prevent loss is to alway be prepared and make your backups. This is true for all PC programs, not just games.
The problem we're referencing on the console is data loss in the cloud. I am nearly 100% positive that the data problem is not local data files, but is in the synced cloud files. The reason it's such a big problem is there is no possible way to either 1: make user backup files apart from the MS cloud, and 2: force the cloud to update to known-good local files.
If it were possible for a console user to make periodic local backups of the data on the cloud and reinsert that data on demand, while the cause of the problem may still exist, there would be a surefire fix to tell the world about. Not a damn thing SMS can do about that.

One could argue that every PC user has a backup of their game data in the Steam cloud. Yet the game prefers to ignore the fact that it corrupted its own data files and instead makes sure that the backup in the Steam cloud is reset as well as quickly as possible.
No, I don't make backups of my Windows partition. I never saw reason to, and I still don't. I use the Windows system exclusively for gaming. I can't remember losing my progress in any other Steam game ever, and if my harddisk dies, I know I can get everything I need from Steam or other vendors that keep backups for me. I pay a premium for this service with every game I buy.
Also, I kinda stopped caring about career mode after the second data loss, and I use car setups only reluctantly, because its not transparent to me which changes take effect immediately, which only after exiting and re-entering the session, and whether weird values, for example gear settings that change on their own, are just a UI problem or if I mess up the setup if I, by accident, touch something that triggers this issue. So if I lose my profile again: no biggie.
Please note that I didn't complain about the data loss, I just pointed out to a user that claimed that it was only a thing on a certain platform, that I've experienced it on another platform.
Finally, here are the instructions on how to back up and restore game data on the PS4:
http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps4/settings/backup.html
I was suprised to see that I couldn't find instructions for the Xbox. I guess if I'm too lazy to do backups, I need to get an Xbox. :)

It works Optical, set it for my Motec button last night I can toggle through my selected pages on pCars Dash. If Xbox would let us have more buttons I could map each page individually and have a PTT for my Spotter.

This comment takes the cake. There are about a million and one reasons to run backups; one of the first things I setup after downloading my steam library to my new pc.
I pay a nice premium for my XB Live service. Ran into an issue with my FO4 save over the holiday. Cloud to the rescue..........NOT. Lost about 65 hours in FO4 with a save/cloud sync issue.
Man, would I have loved to have a local backup of my game right now.
I was suprised to see that I couldn't find instructions for the Xbox. I guess if I'm too lazy to do backups, I need to get an Xbox. :)
XB1 does not allow USB backups; only option is the cloud :(. PS4 does.
How on earth is it an Xbox issue? If it were other games would do it
I have had more sound stuttering issues with FM5 and FM6 than with PCARS.
I have no earthly idea why, but I'm not just saying it to sound cool. I've also recently had my first save issue and ended up nuking everything, including the cloud storage and starting over. Apparently if I was smart I would have just kept telling it to retry because it will eventually work by other people's accounts. On a side note two nights later FM6 would not sync to the cloud and download my settings for about 2 hours. To me that is a bit of strange coincidence that both games had loading issues within the same time frame and both appeared to be cloud related.
I've posted this about a dozen times in here, but I called Microsoft support back when I was having issues with FM5 and sound just being a mess and these are the steps they gave me to fix it and it works every time:
1. Go to blu-ray and clear persistent storage.
2. Go to network adapters advanced settings and delete the alternate MAC address.
3. Restart the console.
I believe that this purges the cache which seems to be the culprit.
On a side note I use an external USB3.0 hard drive for all of my games and I think that it does help with stuttering because I get consistently smooth game play. However I have yet to race multiplayer online yet; there never seems to be any races with cars that I have setup on tracks that I know. :)

That's some good info.
PCARS is really the only game I've had the sound issue although this has gotten less and less to the point it's not an issue for me.
As for the save issue this I have never had either!
But I have to admit I have been playing the game a lot less as online its pretty much dead a lot of the time!
Edit: My main gripe still is set up saves and crashes to dash and track problems that never seem to get attention!

Tires are good, UDP interface button mapping is good. AI still drives like dick's into the corner. I give the AI room into the corner and they smash me off the track. Still occasionally losing my throttle input for the TX during Practice, forcing me to reboot my wheel to get it back. Still have sound stuttering. Now every time I get an Invite I'm disconnected from Race Session and sent back to Race Central.

Will add that I experienced sound issues in FM6 as well. Behaves very similar to pcars issue but doesnt happen as frequently but when it does it can be pretty bad. Pcars is obviosly pretty demanding on the console so I think its doing pretty well when even a MSoft baby has issues that they cant seem to fix in house.

One could argue that every PC user has a backup of their game data in the Steam cloud. ... I know I can get everything I need from Steam or other vendors that keep backups for me. I pay a premium for this service with every game I buy. ...
I've lost all my Steam cloud data with Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite, and Civ5 (on several occasions for the latter). You're putting too much faith in "services" that take responsibility away from you. When you assume total responsibility for your property (your save files), the nothing can or will ever happen to them. Xbox does not give you any option at all to make any backup outside of their own flawed system. You, the user and owner, cannot interact with your cloud "backup" files in any way. But rest assured, MS has sold us on the promise that our data will always be there... except when that data is culprit and the games are programmed to use the cloud as a hard-reference.

Not to be an arse, but a bad workman always blames his tools. We have plenty of other games which aren't as broken as Project Cars on the X1, and we're to believe it's the X1s fault? No other game causes lag and surges during gameplay. Only pCARS. But that's the X1s fault?
Anyway, we have a LOT of other issues that aren't dealt with which are NOT the X1s fault -
Setups corrupting/not saving
Fuel estimates not having the multiplier applied and displaying 1 Litre = 1 Lap
Accelerate Time/Skip to end displays completely unrealistic results
DLC not included in Endurance Series
LMP1 series having races about 1/10th of the length they should be
Oscher back chicane gravel now acts like a kerb
These are game issues, not X1. And some of them are pretty fundamental ones, since they stop you adjusting car setup, give incorrect results to sessions and make the DLC a bit useless.
I absolutely LOVE the phyiscs, sound and graphics of this game. I adore that it has a career mode. But it's a pretty broken game. If issues were dealt with properly and the game was fixed then it'd be close to perfect!

Why you don't use the accelerate time button. You can accelerate the time 60x.
The sound stuttering was always a huge problem in Forza 5 and 6. I have noticed it to a lesser degree here.
It was always fixed by-
Settings, Disc & Blue Ray, Persistent Storage, Clear Persistent Storage (repeat 3 times)
Settings, Network, Advanced Settings, Alternate MAC, Clear Alternate MAC
Then Restart Console.

Anyways back to the patch.Handling for me since the patch is great since I have gotten used to it,and the game is running like a dream for the first time for me since launch!
I did do a full install just before the patch as I had a problem with having 2 separate game saves for some reason (in preview programming) so not sure if that was causing issues!
Having played Forza for a few weeks and not really touched PCARS ,I have to say it has been a big improvement since the patch, for me anyway!
And I've done plenty moaning!
The only sound stuttering I know from Forzas affects the Turn 10 Logo in Forza 5 and the Microsoft Logo in Forza 6 when starting the game. I couldn't care less since there is no sound stuttering in game. You can't compare those games to Project CARS when it comes to any issues. I had Project CARS running on 1 FPS after one of the former updates, the standard controller settings are useless, forget it controllers are completely useless in PCARS and the stuttering caused by joining players is horrible. The list goes on and on and on.
The only really good thing about PCARS is the Force Feedback, which is frankly one of the best ever known to mankind. Still it would be nice to be able to play this game with a pad. None of my friends is able to drive races with me, no matter what pad setting they use. Even the best setting doesn't work with every car. For example, the Merc SLS and its GT3 version have a weird steering. Even the slightest move you can do with the stick causes the wheel to make almost a full turn... Please SMS make this game playable in 2016!

I always use a gamepad (Elite controller with the highest thumbsticks possible) and the the game handles perfect for me. Did take me some time to find a perfect setting but after that I can drive perfectly fine. That's just me though :D
I have played hundreds of hours of Forza 5 and 6 as well as Project CARS and have never once heard the sound glitch in Forza. If you're talking about the little stutter that happens at the MS logo as the game boots up, we are not talking about the same kind of sound problem.
Pcars sound glitch has gotten ~90% better since the NXOE update for me - stuttering is both less frequent and lasts only a second or two as opposed to 10-20+ seconds. Still there and still frustrating, though. Call it an xbox problem if you want, but this is the only game out of the 50+ in my library in which I have experienced it.

... Anyway, we have a LOT of other issues that aren't dealt with which are NOT the X1s fault -
Setups corrupting/not saving...
...Accelerate Time/Skip to end displays completely unrealistic results...
Both of those are directly related to partial corruption in your cloud file, and will resolve when you delete your cloud and local files. They do for me, until they come back the next time, however those two issues have not come back for me since pre-patch 6.0. I know you won't want to delete your save file just to ix those problems, but that is the resolution, so at this point it is your choice only if you are going to live with those faults or not.
Alternatively, you could try an idea I had about "recovering" a cloud save file, as yours hasn't progressed to the point of being completely unloadable yet:
Start xbox, go into Offline Mode. Start Game, ignore the warnings about saving.
Start a career session, make changes to car, make settings changes, do a race and save the results. Do something to force the local save file to advance beyond where the cloud file is.
Now back out, hard reset, turn on xbox in Online Mode, open Pcars and see if it syncs the newer local file to the cloud.
I don't know if the above will work as I don't think anyone who's had corruption issues and unable to load game has tried this yet. I've been posting this for maybe 2 months now. It seems logical that it could work, but until someone tries it, we'll never know...

I know that Codemasters F1 games have the same "Accelerate time / Skip to end" bug, so it may be hard to fix, if it is at all possible.
Interesting that all people are reporting different things with this game. Sound stuttering is very minor for me and only lasts for a few seconds. Forza 5 had the worst sound problem I have ever had in any game. The Prague track was so bad my ears felt like they were bleeding after using headphones. It was only after I cleared the persistent storage that things became playable for me.
I still use the game pad for PCars and have no trouble controlling cars in this game. Sure, some are harder to drive than others, but this is not due to my inability to steer the car with the pad, it is always because I am not adjusted to the power, or the rear wheel drive, or the amount of slip in the traction control. A dozen laps in and any car is fine.
Pcars is a sublime racer offline with all these latest patches. In fact I will go as far as to say it is the best frame rate and smoothest HD screen look that I have on any of my Xbox games. Just yesterday I was admiring the side mirror image on the BAC mono. It does look as smooth as the image in the trailers, something which I always though was artificially done to make the trailer look good. When Ian Bell says that the Xbox is pushing everything in can out of this rendering engine, I do believe him now.
Yes I've done a hard reset, fresh install and wiped my player data. However the Time bug still exists. However, if Ubisoft or Activision posted on the forums that every couple of months you need to wipe saved data and hard reboot your console, players would go *mental*. This is not an acceptable fix.
The Codemasters F1 games have a different Time bug. Through sheer incompetenece they admitted that ALL of the qualifying times which the AI set are fictional, whether you speed up time or not. It was admitted after videos of players passing AI cars during qualifying, but still setting a slower time than the AI cars was posted. That's different to what pCARS is doing.
pCARs AI Cars set accurate representative times when time is going normally (unlike Codemasters). But like ALL ISI engined products before it, the times sometimes (and sometimes not) get out of hand when time is accelerated.
Here's another amazing one last time. Last lap of a race. I'm leading. I make a silly mistake, crash. I quit...and am still given the race win. Presumably it rolled the results back a lap to get them, but how can I be given a win for quitting? This game has so many problems it's unreal. If I was the sound/graphics artists I'd be pretty annoyed at how well I'd done my job, whilst the functionality of the game seems flimsy at best. This game does SO much right. The visuals, the sounds, the physics, accurate representations, a proper career mode, etc. The list is endless. And it's let down by critical functions in a racing simulation not working, and some very odd DLC/career choices.
We're now 8 patches in, and can't save setups, can't use accelerated time functions, still suffer from crippling performance issues, still have LMP1 DLC That can't be used properly offline and still have fudged pit stops/fuel numbers. I want to love this game so much, but it really is still very much in a Beta state.

..We are all still here, still playing the game because we love it and want it to be perfect..
If you really love football(soccer) but all you have is an egg shaped ball that's been sat on, you'll still go out and play football cause that's all you got. Most of us that are still playing this game while being annoyed by it's flaws only because there's no other choice for sim racing on consoles. FM6 is too arcady, so it doesn't count, it's basically in the same category as NFS at least for me. Once Assetto Corsa comes out on consoles, most of us who are not happy with pCars are going to move on from this broken title. And no one wants this game to be perfect at this point in time, we just want this thing to work as intended. Every time you set your tires to "automatic by weather" you shouldn't have to say a prayer hoping you'll get wets if it's raining, you should be able to trust that you'll get the right tires. However that's not the case, you'll get wets in the dry, and slicks in the wet, that happens way too often. You also shouldn't have to unplug your force feedback wheel and plug it back in to regain force feedback cause you snapped a party chat, or invited a friend to the race, that's also annoying. I think it's safe to assume that when mods and ian blatantly ignore one question and answer the one right next to it, is cause they don't want to admit they can't do anything about your problem, so they just stick their heads in the sand and act like you're not there. Oh well, maybe they'll get it right by pCars 3, maybe.

My save files are fresh. Brand new for this patch.
The accelerate time/skip to end of session bug has existed in SMS/SIMBIN/ISI engines since the dawn of time.
I'm sorry, but I don't know what to tell you then. I did on previous save files get theissue of Skip-To-End and the Accelerate Time resulting in impossible lap times for AI even when there was less than 10 seconds on the clock when I did it (so impossible for every AI to complete another lap at that impossible time). I would also get issues where backing out of a race session, even when clicking "Yes" when prompted if I'd like to save the results of that session, would cause the game to completely forget that the session ever happened. The only way around that was to advance to the next session, then exit from there. Example: Say you wanted to save your Qualifier Results but not do the race then. You would have to finish the Qualifier, click Continue to Race, start the race, and then quit from there.
All of these were resolved in every instance by deleting my save file and starting fresh. On previous saves those issues did come back within 48 hours of starting fresh. None of those issues have come back to me since my last save file that was created (IIRC) about a week before patch 6.0 came out.

All at any level you want
I don't mean to sound offensive, but there is nothing you yourself can tell me. This requires the developers to fix things.
Simply deleting saved data and what not is not going to fix a bug, especially since the developers have not stated that this bug has been fixed. This "fix" was also given for corrupt setups, but it doesn't stop it happening again. The time acceleration bug has existed since the dawn of time with this engine. In literally every ISI game since rFactor, including all Simbin and Reiza titles. It isn't a saved data problem.
However this is a minor problem compared to not being able to use saved setups, lag/lunging and LMP1 DLC we can't use.

His specs are most likely Xbox One, Ian. :)
@Globespy: Please change your platform to "XB1" in your control center. Thanks
It says PC on his platform.

It says PC on his platform.
According to an older post, he uses both the PC and Xbone version.
Anyone experiencing frame rate issues with this patch?
Monaco (azure) is awful regardless of view chosen. The new Bannockburn track is awesome but frame rate issues galore.
I'll try a hard reset, but didn't do anything last time.
Any suggestions appreciated.
The game runs very smooth for me, no hick-ups or sound issues at all so far.
My Setup.
1) Limited Edition Disc Version.
2) All my games and Dlc installed on a 2TB Extern 7200rpm USB3, system and all apps on the internal.
3) Xbox in Power-Save mode.
4) Clearing Cache on Blu-Ray and alternate DNS periodically, about once a month.
5) I always reboot my Xbox before playing PCars.
6) Xbox wired ethernet connected.
I always reinstall the game and delete my save-file (everyware) with every new patch, I don't know if it's necessary, but I've managed to avoid getting most of the common problems by doing that.
Btw, I'm not going to start my career until the last patch has been released.
