Hi all,

The Xbox One patch 10 is now going live. Below are the relevant notes.

Project CARS – Xbox One Patch 10.0 – Release Notes

Vehicles
• Aston Martin - DBR1-2, Vantage GTE, Vantage GT12: Tweaked cockpit exposure to better balance the world brightness when driving in cockpit view.
• Ford Falcon FG - Made the in-cockpit steering wheel static when disabled so that the digital display is still visible.
• Ford Fusion Stockcar - Fixed a damage issue, tweaks to setups so car is less likely to go on two wheels.
• Dallara DW12 Indycar - Tweaks to setups so car is less likely to go on two wheels.

Pitstops
• Fixed an issue where, if the player pits on the final lap and only closes the pit board after crossing the place in the pitlane where the finish line is (but before the post-race screen comes up), the race would fail to end.

Yeah thats good.Forget about the other in-game bugs,as long as the graphical issues with a few cars is fixed.:)

Nope...always been the policy of the release notes thread...
Besides every thread that is "spiced" up with some "comic relief" is always better than that thread being destroyed by nagging....imo

I received a small update on steam a little while ago.

Yeah, only 21MB though. Must be the pre-patch patch :D

EDIT: Game still shows version 9.1.0.0.1182 so whatever this little thing that Steam pushed down earlier was definitely NOT the 10.0 patch yet.

This was pushed to MS early so the DLC can be released on time I'm sure. Probably the reason for short laundry list of fixes. Oh well I'm happy with it. Can't wait to get my hands on the AMG Beast.

Have they ever stated why every patch is so enormous? Over 2 gb for a couple tweeks?

If you change a file, you have to replace the entire file not just the little bit that changed. Also the new DLC is included in the patch.

I can't help but feel disappointed that this is it for patch 10.0. I thought with it being the big 10 that we would see some really useful bug fixes or at least a long list of smaller ones being ironed out. This is a tiny list of improvements that really add no improvement to general play. It's a shame to see when there are still at least 4 huge reoccurring bugs that need addressing. I was still hopeful a few patches back but now I think we won't see the remaining big bugs fixed due to the instability of playing around with that much code.
Oh well, still love the game immensely.

Nice Idea though... but there aren't files that big... most of the files around 10 up 100 MB...

IIRC, PSN Store updates happen on Tuesdays, so it should come today or tomorrow as well.

Now the cockpit contrast issue is sorted for the Astons, can it pleased be looked at for the Group 5 BMW?

And that crazy greyish film/reflection of the dashboard on the windshield of the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3? Looks like the inside of the windshield is dirty. Best seen when driving in-out of shadows, like you see here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3kgrqHWQeM#t=0m42s).

Hi folks.Since the latest update every time I start the game iget the message that an update is required!

And every time it updates its a different car pack that has to install. Anyone else having this issue?

I had this 2 or 3 times last week and I let it do the install each time and eventually it went away. I think it was the same livery pack each time

is happening to me. the game is on the external hdd
every time I enter the game, it asks a different dlc installation. (After the patch 10)
worst game that I have on the xbox. problem and more problem

and then want to put blame on microsoft when she takes to release game updates

Same for me, but I have got the famous sound bug back again after the Xbox One March update, not as bad as before the new dashboard, but noticeable...
