    (PC) Thrustmaster TX Not Recognized

    Hi all,

I'm having some serious issues getting started with my Thrustmaster TX wheel on my PC. I installed Project Cars, hooked the wheel up, and was able to navigate the menus like normal. When it came time to start my first race, however, no input was recognized. I realized I had not updated the firmware for the wheel nor even installed the drivers from Thrustmaster, so I did both of those things. Now the game will not load while the wheel is plugged in (gets hung on the Slightly Mad Studios screen) but will load as soon as I unplug the wheel. Additionally, I can no longer navigate the menus nor do I have any sort of input if I start a race. I have tried changing the settings to the correct wheel in Project Cars to no avail. All of the buttons, rotation, pedals, etc. work in the Thrustmaster control panel. Any suggestions?

    PC as follows:

    Intel i5-4670K @ 3.4 GHz
    MSI Z87-G45 motherboard
8 GB RAM (forgot all the specs on it)
    EVGA GTX 970

And like I said, the wheel is the Thrustmaster TX. I originally bought it to play Forza 5 on my Xbox One but opted to buy Project Cars on the PC for the graphical superiority. I uninstalled and am currently reinstalling Project Cars, simply because I don't know what else to do.

Any guidance would be awesome, thanks so much.

Yes, all of the buttons, rotation, pedals, etc. work. Even the FFB tests and everything--they all work fine. The game just won't recognize it. Occasionally the game will load with the wheel plugged in, but not most of the times. Either way, once it's loaded, it does nothing at all. Even doing the wheel calibration in-game shows absolutely nothing happening.

I would guess you've got some driver corruption connecting it before installing the drivers. Can't see what else it can be, try another game?

Hi, I'm having exactly the same problem, did you manage to find a cure for it?

Update: I solved the problem by plugging the wheel into a different USB port, it seems to have a problem only when plugged into the front ports.
