    Tachometer HUD in Cockpit view

I was wondering if it would be possible to add the option to switch on a tachometer in the cockpit view as on many of the cars it is hard to read the cars actual dash tachometer and it would make shifting much easier when your in cockpit view.

    Thanks alot

    Amazing game so far

The gear shift indicator turns red when its time to shift, so that kind of helps... but yeah, I agree. A tach in the HUD that we could move to where we want might help on cars where our real life wheels obscure the tach on the dash.

Yeah thats true, But it isnt great. Also in karts you cant really see anything in cockpit view. the 125cc shifter karts are basically impossible

What I usually do is first disable the Helmet Depth of Field option to get rid of the blurring. Then adjust the driver position to get a better view of the instruments. I map keys to seat angle which helps a lot too. And make sure your FOV is set right too. They're mapped to [ ] keys.

I've got both the PS4 and PC versions, and unfortunately, you can't actually map any buttons to FOV on the PS4 version. You can in the PC version, but its not in the 'edit assignments' area on PS4. On PS4, you can only map 'adjust seat'.

It'd be nice if you could map in game FOV on PS4 in the future.

Or just add the option to switch to the tach you can use in the exterior views.. that would be genius

Yes make the tachometer visible while in the various in car modes. It's too hard to read the car's dash tachometer in most vehicles.
