    Question about the Sauber C9

I remember reading at some point about the Sauder C9. It came up that the C9 is a different version than the one in Assetto Corsa. The one in AC was more powerful or something along those lines, but I have trouble finding such a thread and a quick search on the net didn't give any results.

Does anyone remember what I am talking about, it would be great Thank you.

The Sauber C9 is the one that won Le Mans. If the one in AC is more powerful than it is not based on the real car.

According to online resources, they're the same car:

    1989 Mercedes-Sauber C9 (M119 5.0L V8 turbo)

    Assetto Corsa DB:
    http://assetto-db.com/car/ks_mercedes_c9

    ProjectCARS DB:

EDIT: It looks like the pCARS C9 is the LM version as well.

The only difference I can spot is that AC appears to use the LM version of the car, which has less downforce in exchange for higher maximum velocity.

That might have been it then, less downforce, that's why it's easier to tankslap. I might have remember wrong on the less powerful version.

Oh I didn't realise the EDIT, so you are saying it's exactly the same?

According to those resources, both pCARS and AC have the LeMans (LM) version, so yes, they should be exactly the same car.

They won't feel exactly the same though, because pCARS and AC take different approaches to force feedback. The same is true of many cars that are shared between pCARS and AC.
