Can anyone confirm if the framerate and screen tearing is going to be improved upon especially in the wet where the framerate tanks and tearing is intrusive. I am liking the game apart from them issues.

I guess not then. It seems the devs are a bit hush hush on this issue.
It's the first time I saw tearing on a PS4 game and I hope it will be corrected.
Report it to the "bug and glitches"thread. So they can fix it with patch.

I even made a suggestion in the suggestion thread to add the option of v sync in the graphics options menu. Not been picked up on. Its a great game at its base, but the screen tearing on PS4 was a bit of a deal breaker. I still play the game, its not broken, its a serious graphical glitch due to some adaptive v sync - and it doesn't work it tears.
Sitting on the grid with 20 AI cars, move the camera before the lights go green - urgh..!! headache inducing.
Tell me about it, its not being picked up on, I think they know about it, just aren't inclined to comment about it. Thing is some don't see or even mind tearing, yet for others its a real game breaker. 50% want it fixed 50% don't care.. That type of issue.
Wish they would fix it mind. Crying shame its ruined the visual impact of the game for me truth told
Ive seen screen tearing in a few PS4 games including this game.
The framerates will improve once they fix bugs and issues and optimize the game. The smoother the framerates are the less screen tearing will be (usually).
What tearing? I’ve been playing since it came out, yes past 2 nights. Played with thunderstorms, all type of weather and did not so far experienced any of the mention tearing…

I think ghosting/doubleimage problem masks tearing a bit, and when they remove ghosting (next patch?) tearing will come more visible..
Love these type of reply posts, game 100% tears and it's the worse ps4 offender for tearing since I've owned a ps4 and I've played quite a few ps4 games...
If you haven't seen it tear then you're may be not sensitive to screen tear. But iI can assure you. This game has terrible tearing on ps4
