Pcar is running from the external hard drive which is a seagate backup plus 1tb usb 3.0
During online multiplayer in a private lobby with friends ,so we were in game chat,the screen stuttered a number of times and twice the screen froze completely but you could still hear the car going and crashing causing me to quit the game back to dashboard and restart
I wasn't the only one in the lobby that had these issues
The cars we were using at the time were the ginetta juniors
Also the whole lobby seemed very unstable with people being dropped out and rejoining the practice sessions

Game is installed on external portable HD (WD My Passport Ultra 2TB), at the most 20% filled.
I get the stuttering most obviously on the dubai karting circuit in single player. It seems like it has something to do with the curbs, when I put just two wheels on it seems to be fine but the moment I run a little wide (most commonly turn 6 & last turn) & put all tires on the curbs the framerate drops. At 70% difficulty it was unplayable, moving it down to 60% was playable but still very noticeable, these were completely different gaming sessions. Xbox is in power saving mode.
Hope this can help narrow it down.

On my side, it never freeze, but I get low FPS in some specific situations. My external hard drive is a 1TB Touro 7200 RPM, witch is faster than the internal hard drive, so the speed isn't the problem.
For the situations when it happens, the most of the time it's in the second kart track in career mode.

Only controller connected.Issues in all game modes.Not as bad on time trial or community events though!!
I don't have any additional devices installed. The game just starts to get gradually worse over a few hours of playing. Particularly if running weather effects.I also tend to restart sessions a lot so don't know if that can contribute.
Seagate External Desktop Drive 7200rpm external power 2TB. I've had the freeze 3 times, can still hear audio like game is still going but the screen is froze like a screenshot. Comes back after approx 30sec. Have the stutter too, audio stutters along with game
sound/image stutter during replays with some definite frequency. sound stuttering during racing every race. feels like it occurs each time after about the same amount of real time after race start. dont think ive noticed it driving solo. cant swear to that though. admittedly havent played a huge amount. kinda waitin for the fixes. and playing off Hal 3000. seagate 3tb sold for the xbox one. (gamestop)

Issues
- Video stuttering especially when in traffic, weather, heavy graphic processing (ie Rain, Shadows, Glare). It happens on every track seemingly at random to varying degrees but some tracks exhibit the issue every time at specific sections of tracks. For example, the horseshoe of Brands Hatch regardless of the coincidences previously listed. This happens in all game modes.
- Audio garble. As though there was feedback from a microphone. Seems to occur at least two or more times per race randomly. It almost never coincides with the stuttering. This also never occurs in menus.
