I recall seeing an in-depth FOV thread posted by someone, can't seem to locate it now.
Anyone know where it is? The guy broke it down in a very detailed post.

It's in the settings > Camera menu. I have been playing around with this a lot. Inside SIM Racing recommended 65. I like anywhere from 65-75 in the cars and up to 85-90 with Karts so I can see where the Kart is at.
He wanted to know where the thread is, not the settings :-P

Wow those are a tremendous help too! Thank you.
THIS is what I was originally looking for:

I just used the calculator to get my number, and it came up 70 degrees (HFOV). Does this mean I have to set my cockpit view camera to 70?
Or does that 70 represent something else?
Thank you the calculator link, I will try that.
My problem is that if I select the calculated FOV tracks like Laguna Seca look like one is racing up a skyscraper and totally undrivable. Other tracks like the Glen are like driving with blinders on. I fudge and start with the calculated FOV and then adjust until the track elevations look more realistic.

I don t understand why the FoV setting can not be set on the fly in the cokpit view. We have to try, load a track, ride, exit, change the value and so on up to find the good value. Not easy...
