Potential issue x 2 to be added to the 'known issue' list?

I'm fortunate enough to have a wheel so don't have the controller issues but my biggest issues are two fold:

    1) Sound/Audio from the tyres. I've turned the engine sound down but can still hardly here what the tyres are doing. When running with no assists, it's vital to have the aural cues as well as those you feel through the wheel. So I need to hear when my tyres lock up or when I'm losing lateral grip, which I can't. Is anyone else experiencing this or is there a solution you have found that works?

    2) Cold tyres. I know the issue of grip in the rain has been raised but it seems to me that when you first exit the pits on cold tyres, for the first half a lap or so, the tyres are almost undriveable in a lot of cars. The AI just leave me standing so clearly don't have the same problem. Now I know this only relates to practice and quali but it seems to exaggerated to me. Do you agree or not?

Just for balance, I love this game and with the attention that has been paid / is being paid to fix the little issues, this game is going to be unbelievably good.

Agree with the sound, I've turned the engine sound down and can still hardly hear the tyres. Wonder if it's related to the poor force feedback through the TX.

I dont think ai simulate cold tires on their outlap. The only time you should be coming out cold is during practice and qual though so its not normally an issue.

Aside from the AI not being effected by cold tires, they seem to run Dry Track times in the Wet as well. I hope I never have to race in the rain.

I've also noticed that the tyre noises when you lose grip are barely audible, this needs to be looked at once the major flaws are sorted

I have a Madcatz Pro wheel.totally agree about the cold tires .even the 2nd lap is required to put a quali lap down. My sound tends to crap out on corners when I loose traction .

Oddly have noticed some cars come out the pits with heated tires whilst others do not. The Mclaren MP4-12C GT3 has pre-heated tires from the off.

Yeah, the sound needs fixing in many areas, including the engineer who seems to have died in my game. The tire situation is a big issue, specially in the rain when it is impossible to fight the AI as they are not affected by weather changes....why on earth would one go through the trouble to develop such nice weather system if it cannot be used in competitive racing? It does need a fix.
