Question for Logitech Driving Force GT users

    Hello!
I've got a Thrustmaster F430 wich is a good wheel, but i really miss the kerbs vibration and other rumble related effects, because the f430 got a very good FFB, but no rumble function.
The Logitech Driving Force GT has a good FFB from what i've read, but i cannot understand if it has also a rumble function.
Logitech Driving Force GT users, do you feel the kerbs vibration?
    With my f430 i dont.

    Tonaz,
I feel it through my DFGT. Not all kerbs, and not as strong as in other games, but I do feel some vibration through the wheel depending on the kerb (some kerbs are not saw tooth so you only get the bump). The wheel itself doesn't have a rumble feature built-in like the fanatec BMW M3 GT3 wheel, but for the $$, I think it's been a great wheel. Upgrading to the fanatec CSW V2 soon (on backorder). Looking forward to seeing the difference.

I use a DFGT and yes I get pretty good kerb vibrations

I would recommend it in terms of a good balance between feel and price/value for money as a wheel and pedals overall (though I'd personally like a harder feeling brake, but that's just me....)

Also would recommend reading the guide for setting up via Logitech G25/G27 stickied on the forum if you do buy one, most of this is similar for DFGT other than its Deadzone range and I've used this guide to change settings and I really feel much happier with the feeling from it now :0)

    Thanks for your answer.
I am still missing how do you feel kerbs vibration, if the DFGT do not have a vibration motor.
It must be a (very poorly) simulated vibration by the FFB motor. Same as F430.

So it would not have much sense changing my F430 with a DFGT.
They both do not have rumble.

    Tonaz,
I've never used any wheel apart from the DFGT, so I probably don't know what the kerbs should feel like on a high-end wheel. On the DFGT, I feel the kerb rumble from the FFB base though the wheel. I agree that changing to the DFGT is pointless. Unless you are willing to upgrade (that gets expensive fast!), I'd stick with what you have.

I can confirm both what Cuba & Everfire have said!

And I will add that I have contemplated replacing my DFGT for a "better quality" wheel but I'm just really happy with mine!
I dont feel I'm missing anything and nailing my entry/exit points and apexes is a breeze with the vibration simulation (this vibration simulation by the way, does not seem to detract from the FFB function at all)!

I've had mine for at least 6/7 years and its not in the least bit worn!

You can adjust the stiffness of the brake pedal, I have successfully done this. It does require you to take the pedals appart and adjust (bend) the spring for the brake. Heavy duty spring though so you wont damage it.

    Check Youtube.

I've never even heard of this and I've had my wheel for ages...I'm gonna do this tonight!

    Cheers for the tip Toxic!

Have you downloaded Jack Spades FFB Tweaker Files? I tried them last night and I can feel the different effects, unfortunately, the FFB felt too light and muted. Only way I could get a good solid FFB was to increase "Tire Feel" from the recommended 100 to 140+. It felt better, but if some big event like a spin or off track would happen, I felt nothing. I'm sure it's due to FFB clipping (caused by me bumping tire feel past 100) since Jack Spades file are very close to the max with regards to FFB clipping. Ended up removing tweeker files. I'll have to checkout the G25/G27 settings. Thanks!

Thanks! I've been using a pair of socks stuffed in the back of brake
