Why is photo mode so bad?

Why don't the photo adjustments have any relation to camera settings? and why can't we move the camera anywhere near the ground?

Also, why are the graphics so awful?!

I have taken at least 25 pictures and cannot for the life of me, find one of them. Thanks for all the posts guys.. My list of legitimate problems grows.

Driver Profile > Highlights > (Y) Photos

They take a little time to load. The adjustment settings are so awful. Come back Forza, all is forgiven!

beamin, go to your driver profile, go to highlights, then press Y i think it is and it switches between videos and pictures.

That worked! My pictures! Oh wait.. It worked. And there is a strange time warping effect.. It looks like they added an Xbox 1 nostalgia filter. Yepp, definitely mimics early 2000's graphics technology.

And why cant you move the camera away from the car?
You might not want to have the car in the middle of the frame every time,
Being a semi pro photographer I would like to have total freedom of movement in an area around the car.
And the settings takes forever to change, cant even see whats changing either!

Beagle, right! I cannot three quarter compose any of my shots and it drives me crazy.

This is stone age photomode, I enjoy taking photos almost as much as racing, but not in project cars, this is cobbled together for sure. The camera movements are highly restricted, and there does not seem to be a way to change the viewing angle if you have a wheel, help needed please.
