Lower Reflections to Low and you'll be fine in the rain. Also lowering particles settings might help.

I think pcars simulates the British weather quite well and I'm being serious.
I'm very much enjoying racing in sunshine knowing that could change any min depending on settings.
I just love how the weather plays out in project cars, it's such a pain in the arse when setup well

I look at google earth the weather and wherever i go in real weather conditions it is for 90% the same as the predictions!
