    DX9 SLI not working

    As above, only single card is being used.

    Why am I trying DX9 you ask?

    Well you can use Nvidia Inspector AA Multi Sample/Sparse Grid.

    You can use Nvidia Inspector Sparse Grid with DX11

    You can't force MSAA in Nvidia Inspector unless you select MSAA in game, so there wouldn't be much point.

    DX9 was supported early on in the games development, but was dropped and now performs poorly compared to DX11.

    Hmmm MSAA is too heavy for my machine, hence wanting to try 2x multisampling as opposed to the in game that's x4?

    In game 'MSAA' is indeed 4x. In game 'DS2M' is 2xMSAA combined with DS2X down sampling. In game 'High' is an SMS tweaked 4xMSAA.

    MSAA tends to be the lowest cost in game AA mode (although you might want to try DS2X). You could always try in game FXAA or SMAA instead.
