Hi guys i'm currently looking for a league to join and found this thread. What do you guys think about a league database maybe not only for pCars. I'm a webdeveloper and could set up such a system if there are peaople wich are interested in such a system
Current Setup (2,5 years old):
Processor: Intel I5-3470 3.2 GHz Mainboard: Asus P8H77-V LE Intel H77 RAM: 32 GB G.Skill DDR3-1600 Graficscard: Gforce GTX 670 HDD: 1TB WD caviar black Monitors: 3x LG 24MB56HQ-B 24" Controller: Logitech G27 Racing Wheel OS: Windows 8.1
That'd be a great idea. First thought I had would be a place where a league organizer could enter a date and time, with a place to make it a one time event or one that repeats weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly (Edit: And input info about the league itself, of course). Maybe have the website populate a calendar with the events where the end user could set it to display a specific period of time from a whole month, week, single day, and even down to a specific time period within a day. Think how google's calendar shows you your schedule.
However, I'd only recommend continueing with the thought if you're perfectly ok with it failing after putting in all the hard work. Not saying it won't get the traffic needed to make it work, but the odds are always long in that regard and it will take a lot of traffic to make it really work as intended.

AOD has voted new cars for our Tuesday and Wednesday night slots. Same starting times, but Tuesday night is now the Clio Cup, and Wednesday night is now LMP1.
Thank you for the information @moogleslam but one quick question for clarity. For the American league, you say Thursday at 00:00 GMT (8pm EST/EDT), but 8pm EST is 1AM GMT. I have it set for a 1AM GMT lobby open time, if that is not correct let me know. Also, because timezones are tricksy, would that league be Wednesday or Thursday night for an American?
And thanks for the update @AOD_Venom if there are any other changes let me know!
Also, for anyone else out there running a league or group, please drop me a pm with your info or post it here. I don't have the time to find the information for leagues on my own, so this thread depends on other people providing the necessary information. I sometimes have the time to look for other leagues, but that time is very few and far between. The more information the OP gets the better it'll be for everyone.
And don't forget, a regular get togethers that aren't league related are very welcome as well! If you've got a regular race night doing random tracks and/or classes and would like more people to know about it let me know and I'll get it put into the OP.
Please add our league to the list:
CanAm Virtual Racing Leagues (CanAm VRL)
CanAm Virtual Racing Leagues (CanAm VRL) is a 4+ year old league of like minded racers. We were originally founded under the PlayStation Network within the Gran Turismo series. With the launch of Project CARS, many of our members have made the move to (or back to) the PC sim world, and we are looking to increase our membership.
We are a group of dedicated, hardcore racers (many with real world experience) who strive for the utmost in realism in our racing. Races are run bi-weekly with an average 2 hour race duration (plus practice and qualifying session).
While we are "hardcore" in our approach, we welcome all skill levels and ages. Our main focus is on Driver Etiquette. Our current membership ranges from 17 years of age to 50 years of age with varying skill levels.
We are currently planning out our first Project CARS (on PC) season to start in the fall. We generally run 15 - 16 races per season, racing every second Saturday. We have both a Driver's and a Team's Championship. We pride ourselves on clean, controlled, well organized and professionally run races. Our objective is to mirror a real world racing series as closely as possible in the virtual world.
Anyone interested in joining should visit our website and register with us.

- November 28th
- December 12th
- December 26th
- January 9th

- March 5th
- March 19th
- April 2nd
- April 16th
- April 30th
- May 14th

- June 11th
Please note that we are based in North America. Races will be held Saturday evenings with the lobby opening at 21:00 (9:00PM) Eastern Time.
Venues are being selected based on member input. Anyone interested in joining us should register on our site and add your vote to the list. We currently have 14 drivers registered for the first season.
