In other news I think they really should do something about the bouncing to protect the drivers.

And I'm not saying they should allow active suspension, but they could at least fine teams that go above a certain amount of vertical G's to protect the drivers. Not over an avoidable bump ofcourse, but 6G's(at least that's what they said)on a straight is very clearly unhealthy and you can't ask a racing team/driver to be responsible and lose laptime for the drivers' benefit. Just like filled drink bottles should be mandatory(if they aren't already).

Alpha Tauri tried out a new update on Tsunoda's car: HDRS (half DRS).

All they need to do is raise the car, neither team or driver is willing to do that imo because it will possibly cost them positions...

Lol show me any racer/team that would. It's the same breed that says you have to go for the gap if you are worth anything, refuse the drink if it can take the carweight down to minimum and needed to be told to compensate for a 80kg driver because they were 'starving' athletes.

Furthermore they are far from the only drivers who had enough, Daniel said he felt shaken after the race too, and he's not the only other one. The teams need to be forced to take care of it. And if it's by way of punishing those that go over a certain bounce limit, those who have it under control still benefit(because they don't have to raise the car)

I don't even think you believe any team would trade comfort for time it just fits some peoples narratives.

But if I'm really honest, if I were Mercedes I would raise it. Ending up where they are now or lower in the championship only gives them more windtunnel/CFD time. Beating RB is something they can forget. And they might beat Ferrari with their reliability record, but that will only earn them some more mony, but less windtunnel time for them and more for Ferrari. So if your aim is to win next year's championship, don't finish too high. Which was a mistake they made last year, so they have the biggest handicap of all teams.

The last 15 laps were really exciting, I was really hoping Sainz would get his first win.
