I want to know if other community events will be added to obtain this trophy because currently the trophy can only fall ( if you don't miss any event) in January 2016 .

is there anyway of checking to see how many community events i have competed in???...........i want to get the Community Ambassador trophy...(complete 20 community events)....but dont know how many i have done so far?

There is currently no way of knowing and because it appears to lose or knock your times off the boards if you are not in the top 3000 (which bemuses me) you also have no reliable way of going back and checking how many you have done.

Hopefully the SMS folks will be able to look into this, it's currently the trophy stopping me getting the Platinum

yeah.......i am just missing this trophy for 100% trophy completion....(i have entered every community event from first one up until now....and done clean laps in them).....and have worked and played hard to get all other trophies....so this trophy better work.....if this trophy is not possible it should be removed from the game....also it says in trophy...that you must enter the community events.....doesn't say you have to be on the leader board.....just complete one time...(clean lap)
