I leave mine at 900° of rotation on the TX base. I adjust the feel of the steering ratio in game at the car tuning in the pits. Works fine & was the design decision by SMS. Some people say they change there's, I tried it. But I leave mine on 900 & adjust in tuning in game. I don't have problems, not even with tight chicane's. Here's link to a thread about this topic.

Example, the BMW that's in Group 5, stock steering ratio is a 13:4.1. That just didn't work for me at Monza Short. I changed it to 12:9.1, that worked great for me.

Maybe because I'm using the F1 rim & not the stock or GTE.

I always change steering ratio with every tune . A lot of gt3 cars work well at 9.9 but it still doesn't feel good at 900 dor

Ugh. Well I highly recommend the F1 rim & GTE/TM 28 Leather GT rim.

It's not worth messing about with anything less than your FULL wheel degrees of rotation or a non-linear steering sensitivty curve. Those can work but are inferior solutions.
I can't do both 1 & 2. Either I have to lower the DOR on my wheel or I have to increase steering sensitivity. Adjusting the steering ratio often results in me having to apply too much steering input or running off the track on tight turns. If this is how it's supposed to work then I think there's a bug. What I'd recommend is what I said earlier: DOR=900, sensitivity ~75 (adjust to your liking) and then using the steering ratio to adjust per car per track as needed.

You're better off adjusting the global steering sensitivity setting than the steering ratio for every car and track. Taking the steering ratio all the way down to the minimum value still won't allow you to get around some corners. If you use steering sensitivity it will a) apply to all cars, all tracks and b) you will still have the full range of steering ratio in the car setup to make fine adjustments.

Would you be able to share your sensitivity setting?

    Cheers
