Forum club small charge to join.

I've just been wondering why development teams don't ask a small charge to join there forum after all the forum it's self must cost.

If a small charge was needed to join the forum say a £5 it would certainly cut down on trolls and just general trouble makers but still allow for constructive feedback both good and bad, as most members would be enthusiastic for the game.

I'm not just talking about PCars but gaming forums in general.

Never work. Most of the info gotten from a forum is hear say, and often proven wrong.

I wouldn't pay 5p for that, never mind a fiver.

The downside is that forums are heavily used for support. You'd have people complaining that they paid $xxx for a title, then have to pay $x to get support for something they already purchased.

You are correct that forums do cost money (not just resources, but time of the employees).
