Question TX Wheel, total loss of ability to calibrate

    Hi,

    Firstly:
    TX Wheel fully updated
    Game fully updated
    XB1
    Hard Wired

After a solid evenings racing yesterday i returned tonight to continue and its been somewhat unsuccessful,
When i going into the settings menu to initially calibrate the wheel it looses all resistance what so ever and when turning during
the calibration process the movement isn't registering, I've tried everything i can possibly think of:

Pressed XB Home button and then returned to game (FFB resistance returns but wheel now hardly rotates and continues to show no register of movement)
Powered down box and carried out a USB reset multiple times
Powered down and restarted wheel multiple times
Tried set to both online and offline
Completely uninstalled and re installed game including removing previous game save from console
Full factory restore and full re installation of game
Tested wheel with Forza 5 and Horizon 2 and all is responding correctly and totally responsive

Ive no idea what to try next, if anyone has any further suggestions they would be hugely appreciated.

    Many Thanks
    Dan

Hey, I wanted to come on to start a thread relative to the TX racing wheel calibration issue where the wheel slammed violently to the right repeatedly and came across your issue. I hope this works for you. There is a motor calibration software that is very simple to use. Since you're already up to date, all you are required to do is connect your wheel to the usb of your pc while running this program and leave it. You have to be patient, as long as your pc picks up the wheel the program will be working on calibrating your wheel even if it doesn't move the same time. GOOD LUCK.

There is an issue with the TX, that I and some others have had. The break away connector sometimes has a poor connection. It would allow me to do the initial calibration upon start up but aftewards the lights would go out and the wheel was non-reponsive. If this is ever the case pick up he Barrel connection ( Break-away connection) and twist back and forth while engaged and make sure your lights are on the wheel.

Thanks Didd31 but thats already been tired juring the process of using both a different new Xbox and different new TX Wheel, im now thinking its possiblly an issue with my live account but the problem isnt present with any other racing title, have a friend over later so shall try downloading his account, booting pCars with exact same eqipment that failed before and see what happens.

Did you try the motor calibrating tool I sent the links to?

Issue seems to be solved, after rigorous testing using multiple friends live accounts all with complete success, i then returned to my own account and issue returned, Ive since deleted all evidence of my previous game save from the cloud, done a full factory reset, install and update again, started a new career OFFLINE and everything is great. Going to get some races under my belt then sync with the cloud and see if problem returns.

Thank you everyone for your ideas and suggestions

Wanted to thank you for posting this! My wheel started to act weird about two weeks ago, self-calibration on startup was acting up. It would start by turning left very slowly and not far at all, then slamming into the wall after turning right at turbo speeds. It wouldn't calibrate unless I turned the wheel all the way left before turning it on. Force feedback wasn't there how it used to be, it was week and lacking. I was starting to think my wheel was about to die. So I came across this thread and figured I'd give it a try.
So thank you for posting those files! My wheel is back! It feels like I just got a brand new one, and self-calibration has no issues anymore.
