Ginetta G40 Junior not downshifting (Automatic)

Does anyone else find that they have to force downshifts coming out of corners in the G40?

If I don't downshift manually it just wallows coming out of the corners.

it happens all the time for me in the mclaren 12c in critical corners on automatic gears, i also have to force a manual downshift. on occasion i come out of corners and i need to upshift because of the wheel spin is not detecting i should be in gear 2 even though im at full revs (ex. zolder last corner). in either case i am loosing half a second or more a lap.
