    Setup Bug

So if your on track toggle open the telemetry look to see if your car is hitting max HP (horse power). If not then your setups are bugged. Confirmed still there post 2.0 patch with a friend of mine on PC for example his Formula A only pulling 706hp as was mine.

Not sure if its all cars but you might as well check it out, and see what the max HP is for your car, and compare it to the telemetry.

So went into the garage hit edit setup, then reset setup, then save to all tracks. Then went to a track and bam car has 760hp.

Not only is it changing the HP down, but it seems the grip is changing to when saving.

    Thumbs up

Yeah that will explain the difference in performance, i was hitting mid - low 18s on Laguna seca in the Audi 90, everytime i back out make a change, jump back in and nothing seems like the same car, so try again more changes n still nothing......so back on today cleared the tune, retuned then saved to all and wow 17s straight away....car felt faster and alot more grippy, noticed straight away, my first lap out i was level with my ghost with little effort, next lap destroyed it.
But then after i backed out and made a few adjustments, saved, exit, re run against my ghost and i couldn't even keep up at all.....crazy
So it seems as soon as you overwrite your existing tune, just once it starts doing its own thing lol.
And just too make sure i did the same with the GT Mclaren, reset, retune, save to all, re run, over 2 tenths on a 29 second lap....felt faster instantly.
And also i noticed the tyres overheating, no grip, lack of power, brakes etc, are a few of the signs your setup is bugged somewhere.

If I understand, we can have this kind of problem on every car?

Either way there shouldnt be a 60hp decrease just because of temp, and atmosphere even if you figure that in.

And what another way to think is the air temp is changing when saving allowing the car to be faster at times or slower, so more hp or less hp.

So if the game says it 95deg, but the setup saves like its 60 deg more engine power is available for that track when it should be lower.

Haven't noticed what you describe. Just to be clear - are you saying the default setup provides more horsepower than custom?
The setup glitch I've noticed is sometimes my gear ratio numbers are all wrong - if I back out of the tuning page and re-enter, it comes back.
It does retain whatever changes I make, but sometimes it shows whack numbers then comes back to normal. I'll get a screenshot or 3 when it happens next.

Well there is definately something strange going on, but dunno if it has anything to do with setup. On nurburgring i have only around 700hp with FA, then go to any another track and it jumps to 760hp immideatly.

This is just after reset setup to default.
