I've noticed big HP differences in the FA but assumed it's elevation changes. But an interesting observation, nonetheless.
Say... Next time you see this HP drop, maybe doa pit stop to repair damage (instead of return to garage) and see what effect that has?

Thing is. I tested Silverstone, Spa, Imola, Barcelona so far & on all of those got the exatly same power around 760hp. Not sure why the elevation changes would only affect such dramaticly nurburgring particularly, also im pretty sure that when did some laps around game release saw power being on that same 760hp range at nurburgring aswell.

What do you guys get at Zolder, which is ~40m above sea level, IIRC?

Quick test just out of interest, not very scientific just on the limiter in 1st gear FA. Monaco (sea level) 753bhp, Bathurst (700m) 680 BHP, you can actually see the power change by 10bhp relative to your altitude at Bathurst...

Nurburgring GP is ~621m above sea level from a tiny bit of google-foo.

Could this simply be the engine behaving as desgined at higher altitude?

Might be, but there is still quite worrying bug somewhere. Because ive seen "full power" there aswell. 60hp extra makes rather hefty difference to laptime.

I've just driven around Nurburg GP in the FA and I get the biggest BHP value exiting the hairpin in the "mullenbach" area of the track , ~715 BHP, which looks like the lowest altitude point of the circuit.
