After checking stock several times a week for the last year with no sign of anything, it seemed the right thing to do. I was thinking on trying more seriously to get one nearer to the GT7 launch, but this came up and it was delivered next day. Woohoo.
I'm not sure there's that much around that takes advantage of the hardware just yet, most things are still PS4 crossovers, but that will come in time. All my existing games have been given a new lease of life though, titles that were clearly pushing the PS4 to the limit are now smooth and clear.
There's an ACC PS5 update coming this spring too, so that should be good.
Well from my understanding, GT7 should be nothing like the handling of GT Sport. If, they are looking for the Real Driving Simulator aspect of the game.

Being on PC, I am really going to be interested in the advancements that are made in the newer upcoming Forza.

It seems like they are going to force some the sim community to understand. A lot of these cars are not impossible to drive. A perfect example of a lot of simulations is at 52 in the clip below. It shouldn't be anywhere near as hard.

I personally wished they would take the user specific ffb out. Real vehicles don't have x joes specific ffb feel. The forces can be measured and implemented.

The CSL DD Pro (w/boost kit) was delivered today. By the time I got it set up I only had about 30 minutes for testing. I would definitely recommend this as a standalone base for anyone with a CSW 2.5. There was definitely a noticeable increase in detail and smoothness in the wheel.

That magic cooler bracket is the key, I got my cpu on day 1, but had to wait a while before I could build it up due to the coolers not being compatible or available.

Your i5 didn't seem much different from my i7 on cpu benchmarks. I would have gotten that one, but I didn't want to wait until late February after the date changed in my Amazon cart. Hopefully, everything will be in today for the repair.

Just did a bit of a Steam sale trolley dash (well, several dashes actually). After resisting buying anything new for the last few sales, I gave in to temptation this week and did some SteamDeck shopping. I'm down for Q2 for mine, but it's starting to get quite exciting as the first ones are due out in a few weeks. I've been looking for titles that will play well on the SteamDeck, so things from a year or two back with good Proton compatibility fits the bill.

SteamDeck could be a big deal if they can get the experience smooth and seamless, so many games at pocket money prices, it could bring in a whole new audience to PC gaming.

I'm in the same boat. I picked up a few titles in anticipation of SteamDeck. If you didn't hear/read, Valve will have a label in Steam for games and if they work on SteamDeck or not. They mentioned 3-4 different options but it wasn't anything official. Something like 1. Works with SteamDeck, 2. Not fully tested, but may work with SteamDeck, 3. Untested, 4. Does not work. I was hoping that we could preview existing titles but this may be something only visible through the SteamDeck.

I’m tempted to buy Star Wars the fallen order as well.
