It doesn't need an 'emergency patch' it needs one that works and is investigated properly.

Add me to the list of post 3.0 crash experiences. Son't know if this helps in finding the problem but all three crashes occurred after leaving the game idle for roughly an hour.

I'm sure every little bit helps.
I've had only a handful of crashes. Got on tonite for a quick race before dinner, running 2nd online, 5 lap race at donnington, ruf gt3, and boom, while thing shut down mid race. That's never happened before, it used to be that crashed occurred while the game was loading up a lobby or something like that. Never mid race.

Game often crashes when you select free practice loads up fine select tuning setup and game crashes has been happening regular for me since patch 2.0. Usually happens after i've been playing career, also have had crashes mid race online before patch 3.0..
Had my first crash since game was new, and 10 mins before it got stuck on the screen that has a "resume" button, pressing it just flashed the screen off for a millisecond no matter how many times I pressed it. Had to quit game and go back in. Then race started and it crashed.
On ps4, using t80 wheel, lmp1 single player career race at spa. If that helps?

After 350 hr I suffered the first crash (into PS XMB screen) today.
Happened during career race 1 of the GT3 Euro Championship at Brno (with McLaren 12C).
17 laps done in dry conditions and flash...
