I've made myself feel old and nostalgic, so here's this magnificent thread back at the top of 'new posts' once more.

Despite my best efforts we've never managed a thread like this again. I must admit as much as I have enjoyed the sequels the first game was truly something special, and this thread was a part of that. Honestly the teases and guessing was the backbone of our community (as for the DLC I can't believe how cheap it was, we were almost stealing it) for good year or so.

I do hope we see WMD return, I very much want to be a part of it and this thread is probably largely responsible for that, I'm pretty sure this was the first one I ever posted in about 5 years ago and I've never looked back since. We've had some great times (and some monumental arguments too admittedly) some of the old faces are gone, though many still remain.

Looking back over the past 5 years, I am glad to have been a part of it, and whatever the future holds I only hope I can continue to be a part of Ian's 'cunning plan', for him and the team he has built have had the most ambitious vision we have seen in a long time, and every bit of me hopes that in one way or another, I can become a bigger part of that vision.
