Hello everybody
since a few weeks I'm planing to build a V2 of my existing button box.
This time with the Arduino controller from the Forum user Rotorian.
And I want to share the building phase of this little "project" with you guys to show you how easy that is and maybe that it can/will help some other to do the same.
I'll try to show you as much as possible details of every single step. But as I have very limited free time at the moment, I can't promise that there will be progress every single day, but we will see.
Currently I'm ordering and collecting some nice items for the box.
I order a lot directly in China and in most of the cases there is a lot of good things coming around, but sometimes it is only crap.
Some of the good items:
Start Button and Arduino board (the Arduino is from Gamehound Austria, not China)
Start Button illuminated:
LED illuminated on/off switch with safety cap for on/off of the box itself
Some LEDs for illumination of the box
And some boxes, I will most probably go for the one in the middle.
The box is not very nice looking, but it will be covered with some carbon fibre look foil or maybe covered by a carbon fibre face plate.
Two possible arrangements: (the start button is top/down just for designing purpose)
Option1
Option2
Currently I'm waiting for some on/off/on toggle switches. They will be placed in the middle where at the moment the on/off switches are as a "placeholder"
These will be used for brake bias etc.
If you like, you can comment the arrangements.
Any feedback is appreciated.
More to come soon!
