Wrapped my pedalset in leather and added an aluminium plate for more grip.

I just made more beer. This time I made this:

(Bottling date is obviously wrong, I bottled it today. Just a placeholder in the image file.)

No pictures yet of the actual product, I'll take some of those in about two, three weeks once the beer has carbonated and I've labeled them. =)

Unfortunately it turns out that sending alcohol abroad is fiendishly expensive as well as being a really bad idea overall from a legal standpoint. You're welcome to pop over for a pint though. =)

No your normal post for here but I made these for last years Bathurst 12hr and Sebring 12hr. They are essentially all the little details to help track possible strategy, rules and records. Devil is in the detail

Last night I made 190ish Honda CRV's, 60 Civic Euro tourers and about 50 Civic Euro hatches.
All of which was very inconvenient as all I wanted to do was play PCars Never mind last shift for 2 weeks tonight.

Pretty standard for a home brew IPA. I generally stay away from beer that is less than 7%.

Yeah, it's nothing that special really. If I was following regular store bought beer conventions I probably should have called it an American IIPA/DIPA (Imperial India Pale Ale/Double India Pale Ale) because it's that high voltage, but that's not that special for a homebrew. And the best American IPAs tend to be pretty strong anyway (Centennial IPA is 7.2% for example, Pliny The Elder is 8% and so on), some even pushing past the 10% mark. =)

The main reason I went this high with the ABV really is because I'm just learning how to do this at this point. My first effort was a fairly mild and normal pale ale, and I got the basics down nicely with that, next I wanted to see how my process works when dealing with a thicker mash (more grain, less water), can I maintain my efficiency, will I have any trouble with the yeast with a higher gravity wort, etc. Another learning experience.

Next brew after this will likely be an Altbier, followed by a Weißbier. Both should be fairly low gravity, low effort and low cost brews. It'll be nice to get to try a really fresh Weißbier as they should be, often they're already some months old by the time we get to drink them in Finland. =)

Then, if I've managed to get my fridge up and running, I should probably try and learn how to make a lager of some sort. Dobbelbock? Rauchbier? So many choices. =)
