Ctreg2 ? and from this same thread Jibbed who did some 125cc Kart at the UK National level as well.
EDIT : Yep. That was probably him you were looking for. He also had a short news story on this very website shortly before release.

A word on Drifting
Drifting is one of those things where a lot of real cars can do it under specific circumstances, and a lot of cars can't. A lot of sims emulate this by putting dedicated 'drift' tyres on cars that should be capable of drifting in the real world. The problem with this is that while their drifting behaviour might feel decent, their normal driving behaviour can be highly unrealistic.
Today brings the announcement of the Rokusa LT600 drift competition tyre. This is a high performance road tyre with a very soft rubber compound and shallow tread to make it road/competition legal. Unlike most sim drift tyres, it is also fully capable of normal driving as well as drifting.
Here's a video of the LT600 in action:
(Drifting at the end)
The LT600 will be supplied with the Scion GT86 RB, Mercedes 300SEL and the Ford Mustang GT. I'm also announcing that work has started on the Yiro F2 Classic, a 60's bias ply tyre that will run on the Caterham Seven Classic.

Don't forget to share your findings with these tyres over on the pCars2 forum Alex, you're on the cutting edge here.

I will once I have findings to share, currently I doubt that my knowledge extends past the devs'
Question for you guys: What tyre on what car do you want to see videos while we wait for release? I have an 86 video with the Yiro on the way, but I don't know what to film next.

A couple of small things to announce today with the mod, first of being the 600 Drift Competition tyre. It has now been renamed the 'Rokusa LT600' and will now also feature on the game's fastest supercars as a high end sports tyre.
Additional cars with the Rokusa LT600:
Pagani Huayra
Caterham R500
Ariel Atom V8
Pagani Zonda Cinque
Audi R8 V10 Plus
Gumpert Apollo
Mercedes SLS
RUF RGT-8
RUF CTR3
Mclaren 12C
Mclaren P1
There's also a new video out. This is a default setup GT86 on melted Yiro Ecos, driving a tight section at Ruapuna Park. The tyres become pretty much useless for racing once they've overheated, but with a bit of practice you can still drift on them, at least until they go bald. In terms of racing it's best to keep them cool, otherwise they'll get gooey and the car will lose a lot of time sliding.
