SIM Dashboard - Highly customizable Companion App for Android (supports PC/PS4/XBOX)

Happy new year everyone!
Being a reader of the forums so far, I have now signed up for an account, to present you my brand new Companion App for Android!

The app was developed with you (the users) in mind. It should be as simple and user-friendly as possible, I've automated the whole setup part. You must not enter an IP Address nor Port, the App includes an auto discovery feature to find your pc. Some games require configuration in config files, but the app does that for you too.
I hope you like the app like I do and I'm looking forward to your feedback.

SIM Dashboard is an easy and highly customizable Companion App which comes with a bunch of widgets and templates. You can use the easy drag and drop editor to create your own designs and share them with others through QR codes.

Hi, i would not rule out that this happens, but currently I'm not working on a port.

From a users point of view I recommend an android device anyway, because if you want your device permanently installed in your rig a cheaper (Android) device may be the better option.

I would like to report the following issue: I use the 7 segment italic font, but very often the font is not kept as set but gets back to the default font for nearly all elements. This happens after closing and starting the app or even wenn you are done with adding an element. I am using an Android smartphone and an Android tablet.

This bug has been fixed in one of the previous version.

The app also supports some new games now and has new widgets which can show the current race flag (green, blue, yellow, ...) as LED or rectangular flag.

Excellent app.
Highly recommend it.

Very customisable. Set it up the way you like. Race.
I use it as a telemetry screen with extra info the game doesn't show/can't see in cockpit for some cars.

The app is working on Android only, you could use an Android Emulator or a Chromecast Stick / HDMI to get it on a big screen, but it wont overlay the game itself.

A DRS Widget is already available in the app, but in Project Cars I don't see a status flag for DRS in the telemetry, so unless the interface is updated with this data its not possible.


In the meantime some new updates are available. Some of them which are related to Project Cars:

• Opponents on the track map (PC only)
• Wheelspin Widget
• TC & ESC Indicators
• Tracklocation, Trackvariant and Carname (PC only)
