Good afternoon. First post here. Was hoping to receive information regarding Manufacturer Drives. The reason is simple; I just signed a contract on my first season of a new driver. Group A tier 4, using a 1991 Nissan Skyline GT-R. I have achieved manufacturer affinity after just my first weekend (1 hour practice, 30 minutes qualifying, 14 laps race Hockenheim). This seems pretty ridiculous. Is this a malfunction or have I accelerated my progress trough some function I am unaware of? It seems extremelly arcade-y to get affinity on just one weekend of a season, so I would like to know if this is normal or if there is a way to stop the affinity from farming so rapidly. Thanks.
As much as it reads as a complaint I am actually more confused than anything. I trust these devs to be more than motivated to make an excellent simulation from top to bottom, which is why going all Vaughn Gittin Jr and start making cars for Ford (which took him quite some time) just on a weekend as a plausible course of action seems more of a bug than a mechanic.

First of all amazing game, as much as i might get pissed about everything, the game is still amazing, and thanks for the info, the FAQ and all the infos, but here comes the big but. Iamnt a professional, i just play this for the fun of it, but there are some things i dont understand or havent figured out yet. For starters, how comes in the online multiplayer settings, ABS- on, ESP-on, but in the race, sometimes they are off, making it a bit difficult to drive, how does that happen. Secondly, i dont get how the points system for online racing works and why one gets more punished if for instance one gets into an accident, and third and most annoyingly, i try to drive as safely and properly as properly, i cant stand the guys or girls who drive like they are drunk, but why do i get points removed if someone crashes into me, why do i get punished if i leave a race because my car is totally totalled because of someone else, i mean this bothers me quite a bit, so maybe someone could explain this, i would really love to get some info
