Basic settings advice please for Fanatec wheel on wheel and in game please

Hi, must admit I did not play v1 nearly as much as I should have as I could never get my wheel to feel right... I have a fanatec clubsport v1 wheel, please can someone advise on best base settings for the wheel itself and then in game with version 2. Thanks!

It really depends on personal taste, however on my CSW v2 these are my settings;

Fanatec Driver Settings:
Degrees of Rotation = 900
Dampening = 100

Wheel Settings:
SEN = Auto
FFB = 100
Shock = 100
ABS = 100
Drift = 2
Force = 100
Spring = 0
Dampening = 0

In-game:
I'm using Jack Spade's Custom FFB File, 'ffb_custom_settings - stan lo comp DD' file & leaving the Volume at 100, FX & Tone at 50. (check the sticky at the top of this forum)

PC2 is leaps and bounds ahead in FFB & feel to v1. I just couldn't get on with PC, no matter what files or FFB settings I used, however I am really happy with the settings I have now for the cars that I have tried.

It is recommended to not use drift mode on CSW v2 and v2.5, i.e. set it to off or zero.

I keep reading this and have tried it at 0 but I prefer the lighter feel in the middle of the wheel when it is at 2 or 3.

Hi, well, just landed myself with even more issues by the look of it....I thought I should update the firmware and drivers, so have installed latest fanatec driver, version 292 beta and firmware 315.

The wheel is flashing "cal", yet I have tried every button to try and manually calibrate it, searched online and tried pressing the two joysticks as per fanatec video, but the display still flashes. Trouble is the wheel is now off centre in game, IE to go straight, I have to turn the wheel 90 degrees. Have tried to calibrate in game but wont make any difference. Any idea how to calibrate it?

And I have zero force feedback happening..... This is precisely why I stopped playing before, could never get things working properly.

Can anyone help?

Look into the manual.
You need to press the button to get into the tuning menu and then you have to press two buttons at the same time (which ones depends in your steering wheel rim) to center your wheel.
If you have H Shifter connected you have to calibrate that too.

Before pressing the two joysticks together you need to entertain the wheel tuning menu.

1. Press the small black tuning menu button
2. Center wheel
3. Press both joystick buttons simultaneously
4. Press tuning menu button

I still dont seem to have much ffb though on the recommended settings......i will need to do some experimentation. I am reading comments in Jacks thread about how people can feel the tyres flexing and the road bumps etc....not getting that at all. Can feel kerbs and some resistance in the wheel, but generally, not what I would be expecting....
