If we don't get the mods.txt support back that we had in pCARS1, it will require going back to the huge distribution and unpacking most of the game, and I just don't have the time to support that while the game is still being updated.

So without this I still won't be able to put some Michelin/Pirelli....etc tyres on my custom cars?

Agreed. Bigger field was in the first game and it was one of the things that made me buy it. Who remembers doing the 24hr races in Gran Turismo with only 16 cars? How naff it was, you could go for laps without seeing another car.
I'd be prepared to lower some of my visual settings to Medium to get the extra cars back.

Edit: Has anyone noticed if you choose the Ligier LMP2 it only selects Nissan engine Ligiers? I will try and figure out why the Judd and Honda variants are being left out.

Has anyone been able to figure out how to get the Honda and Judd Ligier LMP2s to show in game? I figured out that it appears they are not being recognized since they are in the same folder as the Nissan LMP2 titled ligier_jsp2. I created their own folder and was able to get them to display on the Custom Grid Tool, but I am unable to get them to actually show in game. I figure I do not have the correct coding in the rcf files, but I honestly don't know what exactly I need to change in the rcf files to get them to show in game. Any help would be very much appreciated!

Works beautifully. Thanks a bunch. I love racing the road cars and don't like some of the choices in each class. Can now mask them out.
